This cozy boho style 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is the relaxing retreat you have been looking for. It is perfect for a romantic getaway, girls weekend, family vacation for peace or adventure. A short drive to many local attractions—downtown Murphy shops, breweries, wineries and restaurants. Murphy River walk is a must see! Or adventure out with tubing, white water rafting and hiking. Come back to enjoy a book on the deck from the little library and s’mores by the outdoor fire pit. Or relax those sore muscles in the private outdoor sauna.

If you are interested in adding on handcrafted, locally made soaps or a bundle of firewood please ask! *Please note- while wifi is available and free, signal is not strong in the mountains. We do not recommend working remotely from our property.

This property is the perfect option for anyone looking for a romantic mountain getaway. Everything was perfect, clean, and private. The owners literally thought of everything to make our stay amazing.

Amazing Experience in a Warm, Comfy, Well Provisioned Cabin

This was my first experience with VRBO and I can tell you that Katie and Ann have set the bar very high for all other properties! Walking into the cabin, one of the first things that caught my attention was the s'mores makings that were provided by our hosts, as well as a very nice welcome note. That was one of so many little touches that Katie and Ann have imbued the cabin with to make it a really fun and enjoyable visit. They provide a little booklet about the cabin and the nearby area. They are very responsive and started communicating as soon as the booking went through. They are, like the cabin, warm and engaging. The kitchen is top notch and well stocked, the living room is anchored by a comfy couch just right for lounging around in the evening and watching the fire, movie or playing games. There are several movies to go with the DVD player and a little library of books as well. The king bed had me sleeping so well. The whole cabin was very clean and tidy. The Murphy area is a lot of fun to explore and is within a short drive of the cabin. Overall, a tremendous experience and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Katie and I have been best friends for over 22 years. Like many, we struggled through the recent trying times and looked for a retreat to escape to. Together we found the town of Murphy- a quiet, friendly mountain town about 2 hours from Knoxville TN, Ashville NC or Atlanta GA. After staying here together we realized it was our "almost heaven" where we shared lots of laughs, love, and wine! We decided to share this experience with others looking for a relaxing retreat from life's struggles. When you come, you will find a quiet home designed for relaxation.

If you would like to explore the small town of Murphy we encourage you to visit Buck Bald Brewing for a cold beer, the Black and White Market for shopping for the perfect gift, Mason Bar for live music, and Mimo's for the BEST icecream! Hiking is everywhere- download All Trails App to find the perfect one for you. We recommend walking the Murphy River Walk for a relaxing stroll with beautiful scenery. Nantahala tubing and rafting are about 30 minutes away east.

We believe we brought a warmth and uniqueness to our cabin. The interior is tastefully decorated with comfort in mind. The moment you walk in, we know you will feel the difference! This is our only property and treat it with all we have! We enjoy visiting ourselves and keep up with maintaining its charm.
