We had a fantastic stay and this house was a great home base for our group of eight in New Orleans. The location on Magazine Street in the Lower Garden District was excellent—close enough to everything we wanted to do while still giving us a comfortable place to come back to and relax.The house was clean, spacious, and worked really well for a larger group. We especially loved having the outdoor space and pool, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay. It was perfect for hanging out together during the day before heading out for the evening.Overall, the property was comfortable, convenient, and a great fit for a group trip to New Orleans. We made some great memories here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling with friends or a larger group. We would happily stay again!

This place was phenomenal! The neighborhood was safe, and the location was great. It was close to various bars and restaurants. The host, Kurt, was very accommodating. The house was beautiful and very spacious, and included many amenities. I was in the city with my film crew working on a documentary, and it was the perfect place. I will reserve this house for my next trip to New Orleans.

This house is amazing and exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is so big that we couldn’t even find the last bedroom for a few minutes444 after arrival. Beds were comfy, clean and the property was well kept. Would definitely stay again and I highly recommend!

Michael, our concierge, had great communication and provided good suggestions for a private caterer to do a crawfish boil. The house itself had plenty of room for our party of 10 and was a perfect spot to enjoy Mardi Gras, just 3 blocks from the parade route. Highly recommended!

The Duke of magazine was a beautiful home with lots of space for my whole family. The hosts was very responsive and the neighborhood was vibrant and lots of food options very close by. Would recommend highly!

We can’t recommend this property enough. One person in our group said the house is “epic” and she’s not wrong. We were in NOLA for a wedding and this was the perfect place for our family of 5 plus some guests. We could walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, nail salons, boutiques, antique stores, you name it! We also walked to the French Quarter, WWII Museum and Canal Street. The only negative was that we didn’t have more time to spend there. The whole process was seamless and the owner was so responsive. We will definitely be returning the next chance we get!

30th Birthday Celebration!

The Duke of Magazine Street was lovely, quiet, well appointed. Super luxurious furnishing and the beds were so comfortable. It was hard to leave as it was so peaceful! Definitely would stay here again.

Excellent communication with the management company made the stay very easy. We had 9 ladies come to town to celebrate a 60th birthday. The house was perfect for this since it has great spaces to gather, many comfortable bedrooms for privacy and a convenient, safe location. It is a unique floor plan since the three distinct 2nd level sleeping areas are not connected, but have their own staircases making it a good choice for multiple couples, multigenerational families or large group of friends.

Very nice stay with spacious rooms, many accommodations, and gorgeous architecture. Quick and easy reservations with great communications. However, it is located near a burger shop with a rather junky truck parked in front. We do feel that takes away from the beauty of the property and elevated experience if you are hosting a nice stay for guest.

We had a great experience staying at The Duke of Magazine!! The house is incredible, the location is great in the Garden District, you have so many amenities in walking distance, including a great spa across the street! We loved using the cocktail pool, which was heated for us in February and the house is super clean, charming, and comfortable. We loved walking to Mojo coffee or French Truck, we loved having Fat Boy sandwiches right next door as well as a great sushi spot on the corner, and Birdy's was great for breakfast/brunch. It's also about a 25 minute walk to the French Quarter which we loved having close by. Can't say enough about how nice and easy Kurt was to work with along with the staff from Summit NOLA. Would highly recommend and we hope to return one day!

Easy fun

We had a fabulous time in Nola. The house was awesome. The location was great. The house manager was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We really enjoyed it and recommended the Magazine house.
