Byggd 1938 och renoverades 2009 av denna typ av stuga, inklusive modernisering av köket och badrummet. Det ligger på en tunnland som är privat, tyst, främst inhägnad och trädbevuxen. Husägare bor i närheten och är glada över att välkomna besökare och styra dem i rätt riktning med säsongens tips.

Vardagsrummet har gott om sittplatser. Öppen spis är endast för dekoration och ska inte användas. Sovrummet har en king size-minne skum säng, det andra sovrummet har en queen size-säng. Båda sängarna har duntäcken och en sängäcke och kuddar i alla former och storlekar. Det finns en futon i vardagsrummet som är en madrass i full storlek och det finns filtar och lakan i garderoben. Det finns en bärbar spjälsäng med lakan och barnstol.

Trash ,old junk including a rusty cargo container all around. Patio dirtyThe only views are of other houses . Neighborhood kind was sketchy. Pulled in saw it and pulled out and went to a hotel. Did not stay Called VRBO to report the issue

National Park Tour

Cozy home. Great view out the door. Loved there was a cooler and ice pack so we could pack lunch to bring with us. Good food near by. Tealy

Quaint, Cozy, feels like Grandmas Cabin

Great place to stay for a ski weekend! 30 min drive to Snowbowl. So many games and activities for the kids (8 and 10), they didn’t once ask for tv! Kitchen was fully equipped and great since we cook all our meals even while traveling. We will absolutely stay here next time we come ski Snowbowl!

Wonderful old historic cabin with all the amenities and great location!

Our hosts were great and communicated everything we needed to know prior to the arrival. Especially the day of when the area got snow and she gave us the heads up. We used the location as our base camp to Page, Sedona, and Cottonwood. It was perfectly centrally located. There were great restaurants nearby. A Safeway and gas stations. It was so easy to pop out on 89 to get to our destinations. The cabin was perfect for us. Very quiet and had a spacious kitchen area with a full size fridge and little dining nook. The family room was also very large. Plenty of extra linens and blankets. The bathroom was also quite large. We slept in the back bedroom and never heard a sound, The bed was quite comfortable. We never ran out of hot water. Parking was fine but she did tell us to watch out for the tree :). You couldn't ask for better hosts and everything worked in the cabin. We have had some unfortunate experiences with cleanliness, shortage of hot water and lumpy saggy beds. However, this little cabin was top notch with no issues at all. We would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you Andrew and Stefanie for sharing it with us.

Great place to stay in Flagstaff!

Our family of 4 was in town for the weekend and this was the perfect spot. It was close to shops and restaurants, and the places we were going to. My children enjoyed staying here and all of us were very comfortable. Thank you!

Cabin Birthday Get Together

Myself and two friends rented this cabin to celebrate my birthday. Best time ever. Cabin was perfect nice and masculine. It snowed in October which was the icing on the weekend.

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed the last 3 nights of our trip to Arizona in this lovely historic cottage. The kitchen is very well equipped and had many small and large appliances. We enjoyed sitting in the back yard in the mornings watching the birds. Comfortable beds too! Nice place to stay.

Nice getaway

Really enjoyed the place. I loved sitting in the back yard at night when a small fire in the pit. The yard was large with lots of trees. Nice mountain view too. House was clean and had event we needed. We loved it. Only thing would be a lock for Martin

Excellent accommodation

The property is excellent, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable place to stay. It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, a short drive from Flagstaff centre. Communication was very efficient and the checkin process was simplicity itself. Andrew was at the property mowing the grass when we arrived. He gave us information about the area and some of the history of the house. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful, peaceful

This place is a gem, tucked away at the edge of the town right up against a mountain. Coffee on the patio every morning with a beautiful view, yet close enough to town that my daughter could walk to Dunkin'! It has all the amenities we needed, enough space for all of us, and the owners were very nice and communicative. We will be hoping to stay here again the next time we visit the area.

Flagstaff Cabin May 2024

Adorable cabin with wonderful interior. Perfect location so as to be close to Flagstaff but with a feeling as though you are in the woods. I would definitely return. When you are driving there for the first time, remember to take the left fork of the driveway, and then head up to the front door which is directly in front of you. We found the check-in instructions a little confusing.

Mountain view Cabin

Lovely rustic cabin in a great Flagstaff location! Just down the road is a trailhead connected to Mt. Elden trails. We saw a doe and fawn in the side yard, and a sweet ground squirrel. The cabin is just perfect IMO. Not fancy, but very clean and quaint. Good beds, and a comfortable futon. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor seating area just soaking in the quiet and the view.

Perfect For Our Snowboarding Trip

We came out for a family Snowboarding trip, and needed somewhere to stay. This cabin was perfect, it was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We felt right at home, and my kids loved the yard space. It also had a bathtub which was great for sore muscles after 2 days of boarding! Would definitely recommend this place. We will be back on our next trip!

Great, clean cabin

The cabin was in a quiet neighborhood, had a quick and painless check-in process, and had everything we needed for our vacation. There was even some firewood for the outdoor fire pit!

Stefanie Marquardt är värd

Andrew has lived in Flagstaff since 1989 and owns his own business, he also sells real estate on the side. Stefanie has lived in Flagstaff her whole life and is a 4th grade teacher at a nearby school. Andrew and Stefanie are enjoying raising their 3 children in Flagstaff, they have 2 sons and a daughter. The family loves many outdoor activities in from running, hiking and climbing to skiing and fishing. If you need any help with recreation they are glad to help.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This property is in town yet feels like it is in the middle of the forest. The house was built in 1938 by missionaries and was later purchased by a Flagstaff cabinet maker Stuart Houston, hence the Houston House. Andrew and Stefanie bought the house in 2007 and resorted it. The woods floors are the original hard wood floors.

The house is air conditioned and has plenty of space for a family of six. The yard sits on an acre in town. It is close to lots of recreation in town and you do not have to drive way out of town to feel like you are in the forest.
