Understanding this is a historic home with a more recent add-on. The location was great since we were in Nauvoo. The home was fine for our group size (three couples) but the kitchen table only had 4 chairs. The main bathroom was very large but the second batroom in the basement was hard to access due to the steep stair. The host responded quickly to questions.

Property was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the unique location. The managers were kind to adapt to our needs and quick to respond to messages. Would recommend!

We got in very early in the morning and with the door code getting in was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet snd roomy.

A great location, large home for our gamily

The location was close to the Nauvoo Temple. We walked to the temple for sunset most nights. It was a few minutes drive to Old Nauvoo. It was a great accommodation for our family.

History with modern amenities

The main home was built when Nauvoo was just being established and an addition was added that included some upgraded space without detracting from the history for cozy family gatherings. We loved staying there with our family and would do it again in the future.

Awesome!

What a beautiful, and very comfortable house in a nice little town. There was six of us there and we had plenty of room! Plenty of room for parking too. We definitely look forward to staying next year when we pass through.

Staying in an historic home was definitely a great addition to our stay. We really enjoyed imagining what it would have been like in the 1840s. Because it is an historic home, it is not as roomy and convenient as some homes we have stayed in, but the history of the house was a good trade-off.

Perfect

We stayed at this house as Nauvoo pageant family cast. It was the perfect thing for us with bathtub for our littles, washer/dryer for our costumes, comfortable beds for all 11 of us, and management that responded immediately to concerns.

Interesting historical house with modern conveniences

We enjoyed our stay here. The host was very responsive, and everything went smoothly. Being an older house, the light/dimmer switches were somewhat of an adventure. Guests should know that only two bedrooms are fully private, with two bedrooms passing through to other bedrooms and one being a loft area above the family room.

Sibling retreat

This is a nice property for a family - but I would not recommend it for couples because you have to walk through bedrooms to get to other bedrooms and the bathroom. It would not be good for older people because of the steep stairs.
