Wonderful place

The house was very clean and had lots of room. Kitchen was well stocked, appliances all in good working order. Great neighborhood - very quiet. The house is close to Siesta Key beach - the BEST beach ever! The owner was very quick to respond to questions and allowed us to check in a couple of hours early. Very easy check in process. My friends and I enjoyed the house very much!

Very pleasant stay! A

It was a very nice stay in this sweet home! Communication with the host was 5 Star! Very quick responses to questions. This is the best communication I’ve ever had with a VRBO. Home was so comfortable and cute. Had a nice pool, but it was a bit cold to use it this trip. My friends and I really enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend!

Family Vacation

The house had adequate room to house many of us! The beds were very comfortable. However, the house was listed with a heated pool, but we hardly swam in it because it was not heated when we got there. The owner was very good about responding to my messages regarding turning up the temperature of the pool right from the get, however with pools, it takes forever to warm up and we were there for 7 days. I highly suggest asking specifically what temp you need before you arrive to the rental so that you have the pool ready to go — heat wise. We also did not have control over the house temperature, so we had to message about that as well. I haven’t experienced that at other rentals, where we don’t have control over the heat/air conditioning of the home. The location of the home is very convenient to siesta key and wasn’t hard getting to Lido Key either. The neighborhood was quiet and cute also!

Beach Getaway

The property is in a perfect location, close to the beach, St. Armands, and shopping. When we arrived, they had forgotten to clean the house. We waited on the patio while they did a very quick cleaning, which didn't get everything but did get the beds made and towels clean. They did give us a 40 credit for the inconvenience. Also, despite the advertisement, there was no ice maker. This is something I always take into consideration as we go through a lot of ice. We had to buy it instead, but there are a few ice trays.The heated pool was freezing, and this is when we learned that you have to request to have the temperature adjusted in both the house and pool. You can not adjust it yourself. After many messages, the pool temp was finally adjusted enough so we could use it. I do not believe they have a regular pool service to maintain the pool. When I asked when the pool person was coming to vacuum the pool, someone showed up 2 days later to "give an estimate." He came back and skimmed the pool and added some chemicals, but did not vacuum it.There are several screens that are ripped. This most likely led to the the mice we saw on the patio. One was on the small side, and the other one was very large. It climbed into the bar and we could hear it often. It was obvious they had been there awhile as you could see the droppings and path along the wall.

Different from last year

We were quite surprised this year that we couldn’t independently change the temperature of the home or pool. Each time we wanted the house cooler we had to reach out to the host and ask for a temperature change. Thankfully the host was very responsive. The pool was set at 72 which wasn’t warm enough for us to swim most days.

Sweet Home

This was a perfect home for our week stay (3 adults). The house was just as pictured; very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Air conditioning worked very well and we were able to get into the heated pool daily. The owner was very responsive to our questions when we reached out. It’s an easy walk to ALDIs and the restaurants in that area. Also only a short walk to the Hillview area shops, restaurants and Morton’s market.
