I would highly recommend this cottage. It is very clean and comfortable. It is great to be away from town and being by the river. Very quiet and we loved the daily wildlife that came by daily. Communication was great with the owners. I would stay there again.

We have been coming to Gold Beach for a few years, but I think we’ve found our new home away from home. Of course, we’ll just have to schedule around everyone else who seems to feel the exact same way! This little cottage is older, but exceptionally clean, quaint, and thoughtfully appointed with thoughtful details throughout. We loved the bright, colorful decor, and sitting around the firepit watching the sun fade over the mountains and river will be a lasting memory. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—thank you so much for your care!

Quiet stay

This place is so peaceful, we were surrounded by wildlife and loved watching the river. We had all we needed for a wonderful stay.

Cute and clean cabin at the Rogue

Great location, beautiful, open view of the river! Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, everything we needed. Small cabin, not great tv or phone reception, but has everything you need for a relaxed stay at the Rogue River!!

Beautiful place including the cottage and the rogue River. Relaxing weekend we both needed and enjoyed. My husband wants to come back and always stay there

Fabulous Fall

We loved the cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. The apple tree was full of delicious apples. The deer visited every evening at dusk. We strolled along the riverbank everyday, made fires in the evening and enjoyed the stars.

Wife and I loved this place. Great location, peaceful, just what dr ordered. Only drawback, but has nothing to do with cottage. Driving back from town in the dark. Lots of deer on road. Be careful

Making memories.

My husband and I live in Los Angeles and our daughter lives in Portland. We chose this space in between to come together for Thanksgiving. The cabin was exactly what we had hoped! It is located in a very scenic and peaceful spot right on the Rogue River. Is small and cozy, but well appointed. We made good use of all the amenities, including the barbecue, the fire pit, the Adirondack chairs, and the kitchen. I made a standing rib roast for our Thanksgiving meal, and forgot the meat rack. But there was one in the kitchen for me! We loved the daily visits of deer and geese to the property, and there were many wonderful places to hike nearby. The memories we made this Thanksgiving week were wonderful! They will live with us forever!

65th birthday was wonderful!

Loved staying at this cabin. So close to the Rogue River, we swam every day. The cabin was as described, shower could use a bit of attention. Easy check.
