Go fishing on Carter's 3,200 acre lake with your own boat or rent from Carter's Lake Marina. Hike or bike the trails right around the lake. Spend the day visiting the local wineries and apple orchards. Or.... simply read a book on the covered deck sipping your favorite drink.

Wonderful weekend with Family

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at Cindy and Dave’s beautiful cabin! The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the lake and mountains are gorgeous! We celebrated my grandson’s 17th birthday and took advantage of the outdoor grill and seating area. As we ate dinner the Lord blessed us with a beautiful sunset! Cindy was great to communicate with and as added many personal touches to the cabin. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Hi, everyone. We are so excited to be opening up our home for others to find beauty and rest in God's amazing creation off in the woods, under the brilliant blue sky overlooking the calm lake. At night the sky is lit up by thousands of stars!
We started this adventure 15 years ago when our family moved to the Atlanta area when we were able to buy this land. Eventually we started to build this home and complete it in time as the leaves began to change colors here in the beauty of the mountains!!
As each person comes into this home, may you find relaxation, renewal and joy!!!

Enjoy the amazing views as the sun sets over Carter's Lake. You can see for miles, all the way to the largest earthen dam east of the Mississippi. Nature surrounds you from the comfort of a newly built spacious home with plenty of relaxation. Enjoy the 7 seat capacity hot tub, the outdoor patio with corn hole, or build a warm fire and toast marshmallows. Let the kids play in the loft. There is a foosball table, checkers, chess, other games in the cabinet. And don't forget the giant Connect4.

The views are amazing as you drive down Carter's View Lane and see the lake below you!! The home is fully equipped for spacious living with a hot tub, fire pit, corn hole game and beautiful outdoor patio. An easy 20 minute drive to Ellijay, 15 to Carter's Lake Marina, 30 to Taccoa Golf center and within minutes of many local wineries.
