Full basement has washer/dryer, extra beds, and storage. Just one mile to Metaline Falls with grocery store, restaurants, theatre, and other amenities. It’s also within easy driving of many beautiful hiking and fishing spots, such as at nearby Sullivan Lake.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this cute, old house. We have family that lives in the area, so it was great to have an extra place to stay to make more room for everyone. I cooked 2 Thanksgiving sides in the kitchen, and it was very well equipped with all the items one would need. The oven also worked great. The bed was comfy. A few comments I would make though, is that it would be nice to have at least a TV and DVD player to watch movies in the evening or something like that. Also, the ADA shower/tub is very small and cumbersome to shower in. The shower head is so close to your body and the water pressure is intense. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would consider renting again when we come back to visit family.

Go back in time with this awesome 110 year old home.

My friends and I go on a yearly kayaking trip. Instead of camping this year we rented this awesome little home. The view from the deck is just to die for. The people in this town are so down to earth and super friendly. We would walk in the evening and met a lot of the neighbors. You won’t regret renting this place. If it’s going to be hot when you stay bring some fans. No AC.

Fabulous Setting on the River

This little old house in the small mountain community of Metaline, WA sits on the banks of the Pend Oreille River. From the large deck you can watch eagles and osprey fish. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom is small with a walk-in tub. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, which you need to plan for, as the towns of Metaline and Metaline Falls only has one open restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The local bar has sporadic hours, so BYOB! There are several outdoor recreational opportunities in this beautiful mountain area.
