Horrendous and Discriminatory
Online I was allowed to book 2 queen beds for 4 people, there were no extra rules or requirements listed. When I checked in and I told the person that we were all 22 and 21, he immediately told me they didnât have any beds for us. Then when I asked for my money back he changed his answer to âthe beds arenât big enough for you to fit all 4â. I again said I want a refund and again he changed his story to âWe donât want drugs and alcohol here, weâre a family business we donât do that drugs and smoking stuff so call this number and ask for a refundâ. I had to cry and beg this man while on hold with VRBO for an hour after I came to check in to not leave us stranded in a city 4 hours away from home. Then he changed his mind and said we could stay. Once we got to our room, there was a LITERAL makeshift bed frame holding together a double bed and one regular queen bed with a manufactured frame. We couldnât adjust the AC, we were too afraid to even talk due to being threatened to be kicked out straight out the gate, the elevator buttons were broken, there were what looked like poop stains on our bed sheets, black stains on all our towels, and the Wifi didnât even work. Every time we would go to buy sodas at the front desk we were interrogated on if we had drugs or alcohol or if âyou are all partying yetâ as if it was expected out of us. I have never been disrespected so heavily by any EVER, let alone discriminated against for my age.
