Stunning Log Cabin: Views|Hot Tub|Pool Table|BBQ

Summary:
Welcome to our Log Cabin, nestled on 2 private acres over looking a valley and creek. We are located just 4 minutes from shopping, grocery stores and a short drive to Camelback, Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge.

The lodge sleeps comfortably 10, with enough room to spread out in the loft, living room and outdoor area.

The Space:
The Lodge is a custom built log cabin with a rustic minimalist feel and all the modern conveniences you are accustomed to in a vacation rental.

On entering the Lodge you are met with the slightest woody aroma which the cabin naturally emits and as you make your way to the main living area you are greeted by cathedral like ceilings with walls cladded in wood from top to bottom.

The Lodge boasts 3 bedrooms, a loft with 2 queen sized beds, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, and a dining room off the main living area.

On the main level there are 2 bedrooms located off the kitchen hallway. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, full size closet, a desk in the 2nd bedroom and pack-n-play and a highchair in the closet should you have a little one joining you. Off the bedrooms, the main bathroom has a claw foot tub . The open kitchen feeds into the primary living room with a gas fireplace making it a great place to entertain. The dining room is just off the main living room and has large windows to let in the early morning sun. You can catch wildlife roaming around.

Located on the 2nd floor is our largest bedroom with a king sized bed and access to the 2nd full bathroom, plus a loft with 2 queen size beds and a chair off to the side for some light reading.

The land is the most impressive part! The house adjoins the old Stricklands Wissasset Golf course which is no longer in use and provides for extensive space to cross country ski in the winter and hiking in the summer. The balcony looks over Swiftwater Creek.

The Lodge is perfect for families or a couples/group getaway, it truly is a place to gather and spend time with those you care about. Snuggle up to watch a movie on the pull-down screen, congregate around the fire pit, or break out the board games for a night of fun. With the full kitchen and weber grill on the back porch, you can stay in and cook or if you choose you can venture out to the many dining choices the Poconos have to offer.

Guest Access:
There is a large parking area for all guests. Please do not drive vehicles on the grass.

The Lodge is in very close proximity to Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Camelback, Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Historic Jim Thorpe, numerous lakes and rivers, several State Parks, The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Mount Airy Casino, Pocono Raceway, shopping, and close to downtown. Close to the supermarket and wine and spirit.

Getting Around:
Martz Bus runs a regular bus from New York City to within 5min drive of the Cabin.

The Cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac adjoining an old golf course and surrounded by trees and a creek to the south of the property.

* Must be 25 years of age or older to book. *
*Pets are permitted. We do have a pet fee of $100 for the first 2 pets and $50 for each additional pet to cover additional cleaning and maintenance.



Please be aware there is a surveillance camera facing the driveway for guest safety. NO internal spaces are under surveillance.
