Fantastic Stay

Our family of ten had a great time here mixed with adults and kids (ages 4-8). The house was a great fit for us, and the host was very responsive.

Our stay with Becca was absolutely wonderful. Her property is gorgeous, home is beautiful abs pristine. She gave our family a tour of the property. She has all amenities you could need while in Iceland. Thank you!!

The highlight of our trip

Very clean and modern, amazing/comfortable beds, almost all the beds were queens and plenty of space for all. The hot tub was amazing and perfect temperature. Our host who lives right next door, was very nice and gracious, gave us a tour of her stable and even gave us some of her milk and cereal for the kids. We had an unforgeable experience in Iceland and this property was certainly the highlight. Very closely located to a mini mart, a spa and restaurants, all just a few minutes away. We even ended up doing a horse ride at the farm next door.

Icelandic Horse Farm Stay

Staying on Berglind's property this past week was amazing! The guest house is split into two separate areas. The kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and bathroom are in the first section. There is a separate entrance that leads to the other two bedrooms and bathroom. It was perfect for our family (myself, boyfriend, brother, and two kids). She provided some staple items so we could cook local potatoes, eggs, and pepper we bought at the gas station up the road. Waking up to horses grazing in the field each morning while sipping on coffee (provided by the host) was such a relaxing way to start each day. We were a little nervous about being 1.5 hours from the city, but ended up having plenty to do! The Krauma Spa is 4 minutes away, you can go horseback riding at the farm across the street, she has a hot spring on her property, Reykholt is 5 minutes away, Langjokull Glacier is 25 minutes away, and the Silfra Fissure (where you can dive between two techtonic plates) is only an hour. Renting a car is necessary to stay out here, but it was our preferred way so we could explore Iceland on our own time. Just know, you are about 1.5 hours from Reykjavik and 2 hours from the airport. Berglind checked on us regularly and we got to meet her dog, Tata. We also got to go into the tower on her property, which I think used to be a silo, and could see for miles in every direction from the top! It's one of her new VRBO property listings (definitely check it out). Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Una experiencia de lujo

La anfitriona fue muy atenta desde que llegamos. Nos enseñó el silo y la cuadra de los caballos, que eran preciosos, ademås nos indico algunas cosas para hacer en la zona. La casa es preciosa, con todo lujo de detalles, espaciosa y con un Hot tub al aire libre perfecto para relajarte después de todo el día de caminata. Eramos 2 familias y estamos todos encantados. Para quedarse mås de un día.
