Stora lakefront hem perfekt för stor familj eller grupp. Home ligger på 4 trädbevuxen tunnland på nordvästra kanten av sjön Broward. Trevlig docka w / Bevakat i klar badplatsen syns från hemmet. Bra sjö för fiske och båtliv. Egen båt ramp och gott om parkeringsplatser. Soluppgången utsikt och skuggade solnedgångar. Södra sidan av hemmet har 3 sovrum (2 queen, 1 dubbel) w / 1. 5 bad. Center har vardagsrum w / öppen spis och fullt utrustat kök. Norra sidan har stor studio svit (drottning) med ett badrum (jacuzzi), 2: a komplett kök, matplats och bästa utsikt. Stora luftkonditionerade veranda med matplats längs baksidan av hem med utsikt över sjön. Bevakat inbäddat mellan de två matplatser. Fyra satellit-TV. Teleskop. Perfekt för hosting återseenden och stora sammankomster. Med två queen size futon som är bred och bekväm, kan hem enkelt sova upp till 12 personer.

Logi: Den södra änden av huset har tre sovrum (två queen w / satellit-TV och DVD-spelare, ett dubbelrum med TV / video) som delar en full och en halv bad. Mittsektionen av huset har ett vardagsrum med satellit-TV, DVD-spelare, ett fullt utrustat kök, och slutna tillbaka veranda. Den norra änden av huset har en stor studio-stil svit med dubbelsäng, satellit-TV, DVD-spelare, badrum med Jacuzzi, komplett kök / bar med matplats, rygg skärm veranda, och öppna veranda med gasolgrill.

Bekvämligheter: Båda köken är fullt utrustade. Handdukar och sängkläder tillhandahålls. Det finns ett picknickbord i den övre delen av bakgård och en gasgrill på den norra sidan (fram). Det finns två kajaker i närheten av den vita sanden badplatsen, och det finns en skärmad veranda på kajen. Det finns gott om parkering och en privat båt ramp. Trådlöst internet är installerad.

Allmänt Område: Detta är en 4-acre lantlig miljö, privat men inte isolerade, som ligger bara 2 miles från SR 17 i Pomona Park. En stor livsmedelsbutik och flera bra restauranger finns inom 10-20 minuters bilresa. Crescent Lake "Bass Capital of the World" är 10 miles söder, med offentliga båt ramp; därifrån tar Dunns Creek vattenvägar dig till St. Johns River på Palatka. St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Ormond och New Smyrna inom 60 miles.

Best lake house!

Our family comes to stay at the lake house every year, multiple times if possible. We have been visiting for a long time. Great for family gatherings. Beautiful lake and well set up house. Lots of beds, two kitchens, outside propane grill.

Great stay at the lake house!

Thank you for sharing your lake house with us. We had a great time. We went into the lake everyday. Our dogs & my grandson loved swimming in it. The guys did some fishing for the dock. The house was well stocked and accommodated us very well.

Great house for family!

We loved this house for our family Memorial Day weekend trip! The location is so quiet - which made mornings on the back porch overlooking the lake especially nice. The kids loved being so close to the water and there was plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful lake, beautiful area - loved the house!

Great stay in a beautiful location

We had five people, three generations in our group, from 87 to 22, and all were happy to be at the house. The setting on the lake and the incredible bird life were highlights. We used the kayaks to explore further around the shoreline. The kitchen was well-equipped. Having a decorated Christmas tree was an extra, welcomed bonus.

WEDDING WEEKEND

Housed my son's groomsmen for his wedding day. It's super close to the Ever After Wedding venue. Super relaxing environment on the lake. Boating and fishing and plenty of space. Property manager responded quickly to any questions we had. We highly recommend this home.

Great Family Vaycation!

We were 4 siblings celebrating our mother's birthday. There were 6 children in ages from 2-13, and 9 adults in this house, and we never felt on top of each other!! The property has beach-like access to the lake- great for the littler kids. The big kids spent all day kayaking on the lake. We had a photographer do our family portraits here, and the setting is complimented by everyone who sees them. We recommend this lake house highly!

Nice for family gatherings

This is a great property if your looking to fit a large family. Having access to the lake for fishing and kayaking was ideal. Beds were very comfortable. The home itself is outdated. Some of the appliances did not work and the tub jets were non functioning. Dock was falling apart and had lots of garbage thrown around. Overall for the price, the space, and the location this was ideal for our family and we would return.

Christmas on the Lake!

Beth was amazing to work with, very responsive and organized. She even inquired before our trip if she should leave the Christmas tree up for us to enjoy for our stay, which was very thoughtful. My parents, brother, and I (and my parents miniature australian shepherd) absolutely loved the home, lake, and location! There was something for everyone, great golf course not far in Palatka, we did a day trip to St. Augustine and checked out Juniper Springs in the Ocala National Forest. I also enjoyed that the house was under a half a mile from the Dunn Creek state forest entrance which was great for running and I saw a huge turtle one day! We took advantage of the kayaks as well, even my mother tried it out! We all really enjoyed our stay and the property. Thank you Beth for making our Christmas special this year!

Nice lakehouse

Beautiful and quiet location. This old lakehouse is perfect for larger groups if you don't mind that access to bathrooms is through the bedrooms, and as another reviewer said, if you are looking for the place where everything is brand new, this place is not for you. We spent the super chilly Christmas here but had fun. Two kitchens mean you have doubles of everything: 2 sets of dishes, 2 fridges & freezers, two stoves (gas & electric), 2 ovens (gas & convection) etc. There is a fireplace in the living room and a firepit outside by the lake. We enjoyed them both. Bring your own firewood. You can see sun rise over the lake from the back porch or even inside. We loved this place. Kids said they would like to live in this house. They thought kayaking was the best part of our stay.

Perfect getaway

My family spent a weekend here & we can’t wait to come back again. The house is so much bigger than we expected my son keeps referring to the house as the lake mansion! He really wants to come back, which says a lot coming from a city boy. You definitely will have plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. They had every amenities we could have needed between the 2 kitchens. With it being an older house i was nervous it wouldn’t be very clean & it was perfect which is saying a lot coming from me. It’s very well kept. The hosts are wonderful to work with, Beth replies promptly & politely. We had one little plumbing problem while we were there & Beth was right on the ball & had someone out within a few hours to fix the problem. The outside of the house is also well kept & has plenty amenities. Our kiddos loved paddling out in the Jon boat & playing in the beach area with the kayaks. The reviews made me wonder about the dock but i am a big woman(300+ lbs) & the dock held up fine to me, it’s definitely older but it’s sturdy. Our only complaint would be the spiders & webs on the dock, it could use a good pressure wash or maybe some spider repellent but that’s something that is expected when in nature so it wasn’t a hinderance for us. I wish i could post photos with my review cause the property is beautiful! We saw deer, cranes, & so many different birds during our stay. It was such a nice getaway from city life. We will definitely be back again!

Weekend stay - November 2022

Upon our arrival our first impression was shock. We arrived to an open door, clothes hanging in the closet, tv was on, dirty clothes in closet bin. I texted Beth her response was Oh gosh, sorry about that. The building was not how it was advertised. The building is old and outdated as was inside. The grounds really need TLC. The boat dock was full of cobwebs, hornet nest. The kayaks were dirty and thrown about. The fishing rods were broke. Some lights outside were not working and the front door needs to be replaced. The locks were sketchy. Overall the place served its purpose but we would not return. The building storage shed needs to be removed it is unsafe. The house has alot of potential it has a beautiful view of the water it just needs a makeover update. The furniture was very old i don't think I would sleep on the couches. I had a hard time sleeping in the bed. The fence that was refrenced to loacate the propery, the white fence was very hard to find and the numbers were very hard to see.

Quiet lake house - good for large group, casual hang out

Positives - the lake was very quiet, good for kayaking, wildlife - lots of birds, flock of turkeys walked across backyard every morning to lake - fun to see. It was only 2 of us but could see how property would be good for large group with lots of beds and futons, nice to sit on back screened back porch and in kitchen w/ view of lake. We went to a couple of nearby parks - Dunn’s. Reek (great if you bring your own kayak) and Ravine Gardens, Silver Glen Springs. They have lots of books in house and well supplied kitchen. Privacy due to large lot. Owner is responsive. It just wasn’t quite what we were expecting based on the pictures. Cons - pictures must have been taken a few years ago, the screened in porch on dock has holes in screen and door doesn’t close - lots of bugs get in, dock overall not in very good shape. There’s an empty small house full of stuff on the property and an old yard trailer, old boat, burn pile but they’re off to side. The fire pit was flooded and there were 2x4’s and some other debris by the shore. We cleaned up a bunch of cans and plastic down there. As another reviewer said House could use an overall refresh but for a group hanging out at lake it would be fine. While we wouldn’t return to this specific rental but the area is nice. Would say large group looking for casual house to hang out on lake would enjoy this place.

Peaceful Lake House

This lake home is as advertised. It is an older concrete block Florida home with two or three additions added over the years. Thus, the house was very compartmentalized. Lots of small rooms with lots of couches/futons/chairs. My wife and I were by ourselves for most of February and primarily stayed in the master suite (bedroom/living room combo, kitchen, small dining area, bath and screened in porch). You could sleep a lot of people in this house. Very old school, but well kept, clean and comfortable. We only had two small problems while there - broken VCR and ceiling fan that you couldn’t control the speed. The owner took care of this within 24 hours. They were great. I love to fish, so I was in my glory on the dock/boathouse. Caught over 100 bass (most right from the dock) plus crappie, bowfin, chain pickerel, catfish and a few turtles. Some days action was nonstop. Fished primarily with live bait (shiners and fatheads) and the bait store was less than 10 minutes away in Satsuma, FL. The owners did supply a 14 ft aluminum boat with a trolling motor. However, the motor was only a 30 thrust and was borderline useless if the wind kicked up. I got stuck on the lake my last day - my dumb fault as I didn’t watch the weather. If you like to golf, there is a old Florida Donald Ross course within30 minutes (Palatka Golf Course) and another nice course less than an hour away (Palm Harbor Golf Club). Overall, another great experience with VRBO/Home Away. Much thanks to the owners.
