ABOUT TESORO ESCONDIDO
Located in North Guiones, this property is less than a 5-minute walk from the beach and some of the area's most popular surf breaks. You're literally in the middle of it all, with shops and many of the area's favorite restaurants also within walking distance. Please contact us for details.

ON THE INSIDE
This unique single-level home features one main house and two separate casitas. In the main house, you'll find:
• A spacious kitchen/living area with comfortable seating and a view of the private pool
• A laundry room complete with washer/dryer
• A convenient half bath
• A covered patio and a large garden
All bedrooms come with king beds and are located in the separate casitas. One casita offers 2 private bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, while the second casita features a 3rd bedroom and its own bathroom. Access between the casitas is provided by covered walkways. Additional amenities include a water purifier dispensing room temperature, chilled, and hot water, along with a generator to minimize any regional power outages.
ON THE OUTSIDE
Relax by the pool on one of the loungers, or enjoy a break from the sun under the covered patio. Please note there is no on-site parking; only street parking is available.

Tesoro Escondido is perfectly situated in North Guiones—within walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops, and the renowned surf break at Guiones Beach.
As part of your rental, a member of our team will contact you before your arrival to assist with your travel arrangements from the airport, including providing a discount code if you'd like to rent a car through National Car Rental. We’re also happy to help you book activities such as surf lessons, board rentals, private yoga sessions, horseback adventures, zipline tours, and much more. Our bilingual team will be available to answer any questions you have during your stay, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any additional inquiries about the property or the area.

Please note that ongoing construction in the neighborhood may result in some morning and afternoon noise during your stay. We appreciate your understanding as the area continues to grow, and we remain committed to making your experience in Costa Rica as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Kindly note that while we honor our cancellation policy, any processing or payment gateway fees incurred during your reservation are non-refundable in the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, even if your cancellation qualifies for a full or partial refund. This policy does not apply if the host cancels the reservation.
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.

Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.

Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.

If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.

While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
