Plan a family-friendly stay at our Grand Desert, a lush oasis just a mile from Las Vegas Boulevard. We are close to all the casinos, restaurants, and entertainment options that make Vegas famous, but our hotel was designed without an onsite casino to create a comfortable, welcoming retreat for families. Instead, we bring entertainment to you with 3 outdoor pools, a 3D movie theater, and 4 outdoor hot tubs.

Kick back and relax with massage therapists, a sauna, and tanning beds onsite. Lounge in a cool Vegas breeze at one of our poolside cabana rentals or have fun with the kids in the game room and movie theater. Stay committed to your routine at the fitness center, and take care of any work-related matters at the business center. Spacious resort condos feature a fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook dinner in the comfort of your own condo with plenty of room to spread out in the dining area. Daily housekeeping services are also available for an additional fee.

Guest Checking in must be 21 or older.

A credit card is required for the $250 security deposit requested at check in.

Clean safe property 20 minute walk to the strip near Planet Hollywood. The only drawback for us was poor wifi. Too weak to read our regular websites. The property manager couldn’t offer a solution. Fortunately for us, we spent most of the time outside exploring Vegas. Also, the property reps will try to talk you into buying time shares. I just unplugged to room phone. Problem solved!

Girls trip!

We picked this place over a traditional hotel room because we appreciated having more than one bathroom! Beds were super comfortable. Loved the convenience of having a shuttle to use to get to the strip and Walmart. We did opt to Uber, but the complex was super easy to use. There were also free bloody Mary’s and mimosas on the weekend days at the bar on site. We never had an issue getting a chair at the pool. Checking in was a breeze, host communicated exactly what to do. Checking out I was a little confused on what to do because it was more of a hotel-like set up. They did communicate back what to do the next day, but we had left already. Overall really clean, comfortable and accommodating place for our girls trip!

Family Stay

Planned a trip with our family and the Wyndham worked great. An easy walk to Planet Hollywood. We love the peace of staying at a non-gaming hotel. It’s a little oasis off the strip. I would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

Great visit! This location is right off the strip but a 10 minute walk to everything. The host was easy to communicate with, check-in was easy, and the property was great. This is a better option than renting a house off the strip, especially with the resort amenities.

The communication with property host was AWESOME! Property was great! Very roomy, nice accommodations. The shuttle was a game changer, just wish it ran later than 9:30pm, but that is the property not the host.

Eagles Trip

We traveled with our son and his wife so having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and having a cafe downstairs to get Starbucks each morning was a big plus. We never found a switch for the fan in the master bathroom and that bathroom was low on toilet paper, but overall our experience was a very good one. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet location away from the casino hotels.

Wonderful Vacation Property

this Property was fantastic. Was worried about being hassled about timeshare presentations but I only had to say NO not interested once and was able to go off and enjoy my time. We had a two bedroom which was spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to strip, MGM and or to catch UBERS. Would stay again

It was a great place to stay and had everything we needed. The only negative was that i had to say no to the timeshare pitch no less than 15 times before they gave up.

Calm and quiet accommodations near the strip

2 bedroom unit was very clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet minus the yard crew one morning. Commuication from Luxort was via VRBO only. Loved the shuttle to Horseshoe, but we didn't use it. It is a timeshare so expect to be asked to do a tour in exchange for tickets which we didn’t do. We enjoyed our stay. It was just as advertised. If you want calm and away from hustle and bustle, but yet close enough to enjoy the strip, this is your place. Thank you Grand Desert!

Great family destination

The room and the facilities are great. Located just off the strip this place is perfect for families. The room was very clean and well appointed, great accommodation for parents with three kids. The issue with this resort is the time share sales staff. We have stayed here before so we thought we knew what to expect, but the sales staff are aggressively pushy. Our front desk agent was great but we already know we don't want to sign up for a time share presentation. Even so the time share agent chased us across the lobby insisting there was a "security issue", seriously that is your sales pitch! This place is so nice with great rooms and a great pool, but the time share sales people need to take no for an answer, not chase you and upset your kids.

Shuttle:
The resort offers a free shuttle to and from the Las Vegas Strip. The shuttle is ran by a third party company, and its hours and service may vary. Please inquire about the shuttle's hours at the front desk upon arrival.

Bus:
Bus stops are marked by signs with the blue, white and gold RTC Transit logo; most have shelters. The most useful bus for tourists is the Deuce: named as it’s a double-decker bus, it travels the length of Las Vegas Boulevard from the BTC in the north to just by I-215 in the south, stopping in front of all major casinos. Deuces are often busy, especially at night.

Monorail:
The Las Vegas Monorail is now running a reliable service along Paradise Road and then behind the Strip. For direct tickets, go to the Las Vegas Monorail, (lvmonorail) site.

Taxi, limo, Uber and Lyft are other transportation options.

Resort amenities are available, except where prohibited by state or local mandate. Please note: Kids Clubs are temporarily closed. (This is subject to change by the resort at anytime.)
