The home is beautiful. Very nice renovation. When it says it is near a road, that’s an understatement. Fitchburg is a state highway 15 feet from 3 bedrooms.

Thank you for your kind words about the home and its renovation—we’re so glad you enjoyed the space. We’re truly sorry to hear that the road noise was more noticeable than you expected during your stay. While the listing does mention that the home is located near a road, we understand that the level of sound can still be surprising and can vary from guest to guest. Fitchburg Road is a busy two lane road, and we recognize that proximity can impact the overall experience. For added comfort, we provide blackout curtains in the bedrooms as well as white noise machines. We really appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure our listing clearly sets expectations so guests can choose the stay that’s right for them

We loved the house! It was great for our family. The only thing to be mindful of is the car noise outside, but that’s just what you get when the house is that close to the road. The entire house was beautiful and absolutely perfect for the sleeping of 8 adults

We needed a place quickly for an out-of-town funeral. Host was quick to respond, and the place was easy to book. Open and spacious which is nice when you have a larger family. Very clean. Wonderful soaking bathtub. Pet owners-the house sits close to a very busy, fast road. The side door does not lock from the inside. My dog nosed that door handle down and was out of the house in 3 minutes. Because of the setup it was also hard to find a place to tie the dog out and maintain window visibility.

The property was excellent. The only problem was the lack of internet on 3 of our 4 day stay. With children on our trip, we had to scramble to overcome the internet outage. Otherwise we loved the property, it was spacious, clean and had a wonderful floor plan. We also were able to meet the regular tenant and her dog and the farm workers dog also. It was the perfect property for our party.

Hospitality Dream

What a great place to have family visiting with us! The rooms were all great size. The kitchen is huge and wonderful! We have family in the area and were able to have each family over on different nights. It was great to cook for them and visit with them. The beds were very comfortable and the setting with the trees all around and garden view were so much fun. We would definitely stay here again.Brenda

Nice house

Nice and big house, with a big and pretty kitchen.Bathrooms and rooms are also to good. The only comment that I have is about the WiFi connection, a lot of issues with this, and most of the time you lose connection when you are upstairs

We loved our stay at the farmhouse

We absolutely loved the house. There was more than enough room for 4 of us and 2 large dogs. The entire house has been renovated beautifully. The old charm is still there along with the modern conveniences. We too could hear the traffic noise but after a couple days it faded into the background. Kayla was so accessible and accommodated our schedule changes. We would definitely stay again.

Great for our needs

We needed a location that was close to southern NH. We wanted space to cook and host family. This place offered what we needed. Large kitchen, plenty of space. Instructions for WiFi and appliances were provided upon request, but instructions on premises are preferable. The property managers were lovely and the goats in the barn were a bonus for guests.
