We had a great stay. The property was very clean and easily accessible. The location was very quiet and peaceful at night for a good nights rest, but also close to the main highway.

Getaway & Stay

Great vacation rental for the time we booked it. Was perfect size house for 5 people and location was in great not that far from Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountains.

We enjoyed our stay at this local. It was so easy to get to, no rutted out dirt roads. Very nice accommodations. We will probably stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. We came down for a family trip and brought our dog with us. Lots of room to walk them and let them explore.

Just what we needed

Tom was very accessible and quick with messaging. The place was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Neighborhood was quiet and about 15 minutes to everything.

Family getaway

We were very pleased with the excellent service we received from our host. The kids had so much fun. Property was well kept. I personally enjoyed the sunrises. What a great way to start the day watching the sunrise along with a morning walk. Such a beautiful country area. Thanks for making this a very memorable vacation.

Great short stay

Very comfortable beds, small but very well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots and pans for our family of 7. The only downside was that their is only enough seating for 6 (4 at the kitchen table, and 2 at the counter) We wish there was seating for 8, not 6. Other than that, this house suited our needs quite well, and we would gladly stay again.

The host was great. The location was great for everything we planned to do in the area. We were 10-25 minutes from all of our activities and locally owned restaurants. The bedding was acceptable and overall comfortable.The property accepts dogs, which is a plus if you need it. However, we didn't end up bringing our dog. I wish we would have known that for certain before we booked this place. The rental definitely needs some TLC for sure. The deck looks great in the photos, however it seems that it was never stained, so there is so much warped wood. Both bathrooms upstairs had holes in the in the drywall in the corner near the floor. The wood trim throughout the house looked dirty (but likely wasn't). The kitchen cabinets had been painted once, and have been beat up over time. The fact that this place does accepts pets is probably why most of these conditions exist - many folks & pets probably don't treat the place great. We would not stay here again unless we needed a place that accepted pets.

Weekend Family Retreat

We've stayed in this neighborhood before. It is not far off of Veterans BLVD. We like this location so we have easy access to the back road around Pigeon Forge, because traffic can be crazy! The Property was just as described. Clean, easy to get to, and comfortable. My daughter enjoyed the hot tub, too! Communication was wonderful with the property owner. Check in was a breeze. The only suggestion I have is to add some kitchen curtains and blinds over the back door. That's just my personal preference. We would definitely recommend this property for your getaway! The

Hidden Gem

My husband and I rented this property with the plan to bring our fur baby for a getaway to Pigeon Forge. As plans changed we didn't end up bringing our fur baby, but did have the pleasure of having my sister, brother-in-law and niece spend a night before they checked into a hotel for a dance competition in Gatlinburg. Condo is centrally located, close to Dollywood but also sits out in a nice family oriented neighborhood. Condo was clean and the hot tub in the back porch was delightful. Parking is listed as 2 spots in front of condo which is confusing and the neighbor in the connecting condo as well as the one next door often parked and blocked access to the condo. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on site for use. My only suggestions would be: have at least 6-8 matching dishes, silverware and cups to be available for larger parties (since it sleeps 8), to add some type of privacy feature on the back porch for the hot tub (the neighbors in back can sit on their deck and watch you) and to have blinds/drapes in the kitchen and possibly the back door to the deck as those areas are wide open and easily viewed by the neighbors on the back side. We would definitely return to The Monarch!
