We had a glorious five day stay on Maui. The Kapalua ridge is such a beautiful and peaceful location. It is definitely one of our favorite places on the island. We really enjoyed the view on both floors. We hope to stay here again. Mahalo!

Amazing view!

We loved the layout of the Villa, the location was perfect was for walking the Coastal Trail, and we so enjoyed sitting outside watching the whales! The area is beautiful and quiet, yet nearby to great restaurants such as Miso Phat Sushi, Joey’s Kitchen and Fond.

We loved this place! Definitely coming back. Wonderful location with a sprawling view of the sea from upstairs and downstairs and right up against a golf course in the back, so gorgeous that direction, too. Management was prompt and professional. Finding the place is a bit tricky at first, but management was responsive to our outreach for support. It’s a somewhat big condo complex and once you understand it, it’s easy.

Wonderful home away from home

This is a beautiful condo with all the amenities you could ask for. It’s well maintained and right on the golf course, within walking distance of a fantastic snorkeling beach with sea turtles, great restaurants and hiking trails. We would definitely return to the Ridge. This is our second year staying here, and we were very happy.

Beautiful condo!

The management group was communicative but we had no issues or questions so our communication was minimal. Condo has very nice furnishings and deco. The view of the ocean is amazing, especially from the 2nd floor windows!

1st Time in Maui - Spectacular Townhome

My daughter and I celebrated her graduation from high school and pending military service in the marines at this amazing townhome in Maui. The home was as perfect as described, with all of the amenities. We enjoyed the pineapple that was awaiting us and the island coffee. The space was perfect for the both of us. The sofa bed was super comfortable. Drinking coffee on the lanai was a pleasure every morning and we cooked many meals together. The residence is just a short walk from the best beaches. The villa property is meticulously cared for, safe and very quiet and peaceful. Thank You for a fabulous place to celebrate!!

Great location

Great location Unit needs a few minor repaires-shower head, burnt out lights. We had an issue with a smoke detector alarm beeping on a Saturday evening and we were unable to get in touch with the property manager. We finally reached someone Sunday and they fixed the problem immediately.

Mahalo Leslie for your review and comments. When the offices are closed, be sure to use the After-Hours Emergency phone number that can be found in the guest directory, inside the unit. We would have come out right away to assist. We are sorry that you could not reach us, but glad that our team resolved the smoke detector first thing in the morning for you. We hope to host you again soon. Aloha.

If I were you, I'd keep looking

At first blush, all looked good. But the details, well, they left practically everything to be desired. Fundamentally, it's clear they just don't care. There's a tub, sure, but only enough hot water for a quarter fill, and the property manager says "the water heater is working fine." Bad knives that won't cut hot butter and no way to sharpen them, with poor and meager cooking utensils. The cheapest toilet paper and paper towels known to man. Annoying pumps that cycle on and off all night long. If you plan to use it only as a crash pad and a place to enjoy cocktails overlooking the ocean, and you're a super deep sleeper, it's fine. But as a temporary "home," and for the price, it was quite disappointing.

We always appreciate our guests feedback and the opportunity to improve our service offering. We acknowledge and apologize for the quality of the paper products. Since the pandemic, paper products have been in limited supply. We have several sources but were subject to the ration and could only get a case at a time. We had to accept what was available. Under normal circumstances, we use the Costco brands which are always consistent in quality. The water heater in this one bedroom property is a standard 38 gallon system. It will likely be a challenge to get a full tub of very hot water particularly if doing so while the washer or dish washer is running but it is quite adequate under normal circumstances. We do acknowledge that the knives were in need of sharpening. We provide a hand held sharpener in the utensil drawer. We regret our guest did not notice it. The AC system operates on a thermostat and it will cycle on and off as needed to keep the temperature at the desired setting. This is to be expected and until now not an issue. We do hope this information is helpful to our future guests.

Quiet and clean with a wonderful view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is nicely appointed and well-equipped with most all amenities we wanted for our stay. The location is very quiet, and the view of the ocean is a huge factor of enjoyment. The only suggestion I would have is for those guests whose arrivals are in the evening would be to have on hand a small provision of morning coffee, sugar and creamer. Not a huge deal but would be a cherry on top.

4 and a Half Stars (See below)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was glorious! It's even better than the pictures. The management was super helpful. The only reason we gave this 4 stars for general condition was that when we arrived, there was a dirty diaper left in the kitchen trash. All the remotes needed batteries (and there are several), and the upstairs shower door was very low and scraped when closing. We only called about the diaper, because we didn't want to be a nudge over the holidays. The furnishings were very upscale, and the refrigerator was fabulous. Overall, if we come to Kapalua again, we'd love to stay there again (and assume all the "little things" will have been attended to).

A wonderful time in Kapalua!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in Hawaii and Marty and the team at Aloha Vacation Rentals came highly recommended to us. We loved the villa and wouldn't hesitate to rent again. We didn't take advantage of the concierge services as much as we should have but it was very helpful to have groceries delivered in advance of our stay. All of our meals in local restaurants were delicious...especially Merriman's. Just book well in advance.
