This gorgeous church hosts up to ten guests. A private master suite with its own deck overlooking the beauty of Jo Davies’s county just outside of Galena. Coming in the winter for skiing? No problem! Just drive into the 2 car garage connected to the church. Summer wedding? There is an amazing secret garden to say your vows. A fire pit for toasting marshmallows and viewing the night skies. A gas grill for tasty steaks. It’s all yours…modern amenities…historical features…and whenever you want; you can ring the church bell!

Beautiful & Great for Family

We came for college graduation and this was perfect for family to gather and celebrate! It was beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything that we needed for our stay.

Great getaway

Booked this place for a weekend girls trip. Such a cool and unique place to stay, and very close to town. Comfortably fit 8 people. Hosts were very friendly and easy to reach!

Enjoyable stay!

Our family enjoyed visiting Galena and staying at this beautiful and unique converted church. We found the home very clean when we arrived and very comfortable for the 2 nights we visited. Amazing views of the sunrise and nighttime stars from the deck. Plenty of room for our family of 9 and a dog to enjoy. Our hosts were very accommodating and quick to reply to all our questions. Would love to come back and stay at this house. Definitely and highly recommend this place!

Beautiful weekend getaway

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this historic and recently renovated church! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our sibling adventure. We are 3 couples in our 60's and traveled to Galena for a weekend getaway and the location was perfect, just a quick drive to a rural area NE of town. The renovations are beautiful while still keeping some of the history of the church intact. We had plenty of room in the great room and kitchen area to socialize and the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect for us. The views from the decks were great and I'm sure would be even better in the summer and fall with the tree colors. The self-check in process was smooth and it was clean and newly renovated. We are always up for adventure and staying in church was a fun experience. Don't hesitate to book this great property, especially if you have a desire to ring an old fashioned church bell!

Perfect Place to Get Ready for Wedding

What a beautiful property! We would love to come back and enjoyed having such a peaceful place to stay while we were getting ready the morning of for my wedding. Spacious, well decorated, and the host was accommodating!
