Recently renovated quaint lakefront cottage, located on Lake Maranacook. Beautiful private setting, steps to the lake. Platform deck overlooks the lake for outside lounging and dining. Sun porch with rocking chairs and a twin bed for reading, napping. Cottage includes all amenities needed for a comfortable stay - AC, W/D, linens, bath towels, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor gas grill, patio furniture/umbrella, games, etc. Location provides a great place for swimming, fishing, walks, hikes, canoeing, kayaking right out the front door. Views of the Lake from most every window in the cottage. Location is very secluded and peaceful. Listen to the loons at night.
**20 minutes to quaint Hallowell for shopping and great restaurants.
**15 minutes to the hit TV show Maine Cabin Masters HQ, Retail Store and Woodshed where you can enjoy the "local flavor": delicious food, outdoor bar serving microbrews and entertainment area where they host live music and events during the summer.

Beautiful lake adjoining property with a great view. Interesting layout of the cabin as there have been obvious add ons over the decades. Owner is near by with adorable Berner dogs that are friendly. Owner was attentive to our needs over our week stay

A charming cottage on the perfect lake with the best host. The kids showed up with their fishing poles and swimming trunks, and they never set them down or took them off. I and my family enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Ann, for a wonderful summer vacation!

Fun with Family

My family had a great week! The lake is beautiful and the kids enjoyed swimming and catching sun fish on the beach. The cottage was very comfortable and outfitted very well with nice towels and bedding and it was great to have the convenience of a washer/dryer. The towels and bedding were also very nice. We didn't need to bring anything other than our fishing equipment and our food.

Relaxing Lakeside Cottage Getaway

Our group was in the area for a long weekend wedding. We decided to make a week of it in Maine and we totally enjoyed our stay at the lake. The hosts were hospitable to the max! We had everything we needed to experience an active and pleasing time for all. Thanks for a great week at the cottage.

Luna cottage is located on Lake Maranacook where you can hear and watch the loons as they pass by in front of the cottage. Step out the front door and relax on the deck overlooking the lake or go for a swim or take the canoe out for an adventure or take a long walk through the woods. The cottage is best suited for families, couples, and small groups of friends. It has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation.
