We loved staying at this beach house! The house is very clean and organized, and the kitchen was loaded with appliances and equipment to make nearly anything you wanted. Hot water worked great for showers and the bathrooms are modern and nice. The house itself is private and just steps from the greatest sandy beach on Lake Superior. Highly recommend for a family beach vacation or any stay where you want to unplug and listen to the waves.

Coffeemaker didn't work, only two dishwasher soaps, we tookbcare of while intown. Also leftca much needed flyswatter as our timing was perfect eith a blackfly hatch!

Great Stay, Awesome Place

We loved our stay at this house. Was an even cooler property than advertised. House was beautiful, great beach access and had everything we needed. Definitely would love to visit again and would recommend. Such a cool spot.

Beautiful Lakeside retreat

Beautiful, exceptionally clean home. As another review mentioned, the pictures do not do it justice. If you're looking for a place to enjoy God's beautiful creation this is it. Beautiful sandy beach right on Lake Superior. Enjoyed walking the beach and seeing the beautiful sunsets in the evening. Jay is a great host and very helpful. Lots of special extras! You will not be disappointed!

Cozy cabin on the lake

Perfect place to stay when exploring this part of the UP. Lots of beautiful things to see. We were able to do multiple day trips and enjoyed coming back to the warm fire!

UP Getaway

We love this place so much! Beautiful house, and amazing private beach! Our family had a wonderful vacation. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach, but there is also so much to explore nearby. We visited the Porcupine Mountains and many other gorgeous hikes. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place to stay on the shores of Lake Superior

My friends and I had an absolute blast staying here for a girls trip. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and there was plenty of space to inside and out to see. Would definitely love to come back! The host was very helpful too.

We stayed at this brand new property for 3 nights. It is a beautifully designed and built home with everything you need, on a wooded lot with direct access to Lake Superior (about thirty yards from the back porch). Beautiful sand beach. We had a great relaxing stay.

Gorgeous getaway

Amazing location. Loved the house. Cozy and bright. Waking up with that view from the bed was heaven. One of the best rental kitchens I've ever been in. Set up to cook and read and walk the beach and see no one else.

Beautiful Home!

We had an incredible winter getaway weekend here. The fireplace, kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, and location on Lake Superior were amazing. It’s off the beaten path with limited cell service, so I recommend downloading a map before driving here. We will definitely be back!

Inspirational!

We enjoyed our winter retreat. The large windows provided us with a wonderful view of the woods, the ice shoves, and Lake Superior herself. We used our days there as a time to relax, write and paint. It was perfect!

Secluded beautiful property

Very nice location on Lake Superior. We had dramatic weather. Wind and waves. The house had large windows with views on the lake. Very neat, clean, modern home.

Fantastic place

We were absolutely blown away how beautiful the home was when we walked in the front door. Really enjoyed our stay there. Fantastic sunsets views from a great beach just a short walk from the home. Would recommend to anyone. Only minor issue is water pressure for showers. Owner is aware and working on. Very minor issue given how enjoyable our stay was.

Spring Break 2024

We stayed here for a relaxing spring break get away and that is exactly what it was. We truly loved and appreciated every ascept this cabin/home offers. From the beach view out the floor to ceiling windows to the wooded front yard. It was the perfect spot to relaxing and drink coffee by the fire and watch the waves roll through. We explored Porcupine Mountains, which was breathtaking even in the cold. We will for sure be back

Great newly built home in the middle of the woods right on Lake Superior. Host made sure we had everything we needed. Only about 25 minutes to the Porcupines Mountains and 35 minutes to Lake of the Clouds.

The Best Property

The property was absolutely stunning. The whole house was tastefully decorated and spotless. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need. The beds were comfortable. The deck on the house had a bbq grill and a propane fire pit with many comfortable chairs. The location was very nice and right on the water. The beach was beautiful and we spent every day by the water. Jay was very responsive and quick to respond. We will be back. Lu and Peter

Enchanting Lake Superior getaway!

If you are looking for a getaway on the water, this is the place! The property is off the beaten path with direct access to the shores of Lake Superior right off the back deck. There is plenty of room, both indoors and out. We especially enjoyed the fireplace that provides warmth and ambient lighting to the great room and master bedroom. The only thing that we did not like was that there is no window coverings in either bedroom and there are other homes; although, I am not sure if there are any year-round residents in the late Fall when we stayed. This property was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away from home.

Beautiful modern luxury get-away on a beautiful beach

This is by far the nicest and most comfortable vacation rental we have had the opportunity to rent. This house is absolutely gorgeous in every way. The location is amazing, private and easy to locate. It is situated on a wonderful beach on Lake Superior where you can enjoy quiet beach walks in either direction. The home is stunning, and the decor is over the top. Every detail is well thought out and top of the line. The person who decorated this house really did a wonderful job designing an elegant modern feel, and at the same time still offering a beach house coastal style. I enjoyed the kitchen so much, the dinnerware, cookware and appliances were beautiful, and it made cooking fun, even on vacation! The bed was so comfortable, I actually looked for the brand and ordered one to replace my bed at home. I can't say enough good about this house, other than I want one just like it. Thank you for sharing it!

Slice of Heaven

I don’t think I can summarize the beauty of this place in a review. The home is a work of art and you can see the dream of the owners in every space. We felt at home the entire time. The beach was the most amazing time spent when we were there. The sunsets are painted over the lake like a dream and our family soaked it up. We explored the area with great rec commendations from the host and others we met in town. Our daughter kept saying it was the best vacation ever! We agree and will be back. We were to bring our fur child with us and she passed before the trip, we honored her there and felt her with us during this time. All in all, 1000 out of 10; this trip will always have a special place in my heart.
