Place is fine; more pillows on the bed wouldBe nice. The owner didn’t leave my wife and I any toilet paper which was a pleasant surprise to find out at 3AM when you have to go.

Great location, easy access, and blackout curtains! Only issue was no SALT. They had pepper, Italian and plenty of other said dressings we didn't use, but no salt.Oatmeal was still eatable even without salt and thanks for the great stay.

Perfect for our stay prior to our final destination to smaller Alaska town. We just needed a stop off to shop and stay before returning to our Alaska work station. Great price for the summer, and just what we needed! Instructions were clear and concise and we were able to get in and out with ease. Parking space available too, and was great because we rented a car. Would stay here again!

Visit to Anchorage, Alaska

When we first drove up, we noticed parking was tight. When we walked into our home away from home, it felt just right. Lots of light, very clean and everything we needed. The bed was firm but comfortable. Access to Walmart and the Seward highway was nice. The owners were friendly and easy to talk to. We took several trips down the Seward Highway to see the sites and walk some trails. So Awe inspiring! We haven’t seen the Beluga’s or salmon yet, but hoping we will!

Our stay was great! I liked the bathroom and kitchen. It would have been better if there was a chain lock on the door too for extra security.

Great short term stay

Great location for a brief stay in Anchorage. Good communication and check-in process. Locating property at night was a challenge as hoyse numbers are not clearly displayed . Would stay again. Very clean and comfortable.

Good, not great

The apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was bare minimum - only one regular sized spoon. The owner never responded when we had a question about the thermostat; that was very disappointing. Luckily, the apartment warmed up after we closed the window that had been left open. Overall a good space in a good location.

Anchorage midtown stay

We enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to many things. It's within easy walking distance of Walmart. Communication with the host was good. The bed was comfortable.

Some pros and cons

Pros: centrally located, comfortable bed, nice shower Cons: not a great neighborhood (lots of panhandlers and a homeless "camp" just a few blocks away), washer/dryer is located in the bedroom so don't plan on doing laundry in the evening (and hope the person in the unit upstairs isn't doing laundry at night, as they were when we stayed). When we checked in around 3:45 pm, we were looking forward to showers after hiking, but all the towels in the bathroom had recently been removed from the washer & not dried. The owner got new towels to us in about the same amt of time as it took for the wet ones to dry out in the dryer. We also noticed a lack of silverware -- ok on forks and large spoons, but only 1 smaller spoon and no knives (e.g. butter knives). We mentioned that to the owner, but never received a response.
