Om boendet

Large Comfy room w Private bath in gre

Private room with a full private bathroom in a large private house. There is queen bed, comfortable couch, dinning table, computer desk, fridge, microwave, kettle and ext , in the room. We provide towels and basic toiletries.
Our house is in good location. There is shopping plaza down the street about a minute walking distance from our place, there is about a dozen of restaurants, coffee shops, Save On Food grocery/supermarket, a gym and other services.
There is a bus stop in front of our house. You can get by bus Richmond Center. It takes less than 10 minutes where are a lot of stores, Sky train station where you can go anywhere in Greater Vancouver.
It take about 30 minutes to get to the Airport by public transportation or approximately 10-15 minutes by car.
We have small lot in front of our house. Parking is just on the street. It is free.

Tat and Michael were kind, respectful and responsive to any messages. The place was super cozy, quiet and clean. We had a great stay and would definitely go back!

Was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Facilities in the room were good however, a coffee perculator was supplied with filters but, no coffee, tea bags or milk were provided.

Small, cozy room in private home with bathI would describe the room as cozy rather than large. It had mini-frig, microwave, coffee pot and hot pot with minimal dining ware (silver, plates, bowls and cups). There is a shopping plaza just down the street with restaurants, cafes, grocery and bakery. Seeing the picture of the kitchen, we mistakenly purchased food for our stay, but decided to just store it for the next location after seeing the cooking facilities in the room. The desks, bed and furniture made the room feel small and crowded, smaller than it actually was. Tatiana was very nice and friendly, a pleasure to talk with. We have become accustom to private entrances to other VRBO listings. As long as you know this is a room in the family's home without a private entrance, you should enjoy your stay. Don't forget to remove your shoes on entering the home.

Tanya is the best!

Staying with Tanya was such a breeze. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to drop off our bags early in the morning before the room was available. Apparently there was also an issue with the site double booking for the night...but she found space for us still and we are so grateful. The location was easy for uber drivers to find, which is also a big pro. It's a bit far from downtown Vancouver, but it's close to the airport which was a big draw for us since we had a super early flight. We only slept about four hours at Tanya's because of the early flight so we weren't able to interact with her much, but we would definitely stay here again!

Good stay at Tanya’s House

Tanya and Michael are very friendly and accommodating. My flight didn’t arrive until 11:30pm. When I arrived at Tanya’s house, it was already midnight. Tanya waited to open the door for me. It is only five-minutes walk to the closest shopping mall. There are restaurants, bakery, and supermarket in the mall. The bus stop is in front of their house. You can take the bus by using a credit card to the train station. Then you can take the train go to the airport. It is very convenient.

It’s a small room with not much space to move around. For price, it’s ok. The parking is on the (busy) street that did not feel safe… further complicated by the fact that you cannot park on the street between 7 to 9 AM on weekdays!! So if you are staying over weekdays, the only choice you have is to give your keys to the owners who can shuffle his car out before 7 if he is going to work. If he is not, you have no choice but to block him in the driveway which they didn’t like either, or go to Starbucks I suppose at 7 in the morning… lol… It’s a big problem to say the least. Unless they agree ahead of time to let you park on the driveway, I would avoid this property.

This is a perfect location for sighting seeing in Vancouver, BC Canada. Our tour bus was from Seattle, WA able to drop us off right in front of the house because it sits on a major street with a bus line. You can walk out of the house and get on a free bus to take you to the Sky Train that takes you right downtown or to the dock to get on the hop on and hop off bus. Also, there is an A&W Root beer restaurant and a Subway that is open 24 Hours and is just a block walk from the house. The host was fantastic, she was very helpful and at the house to greet us when we arrived. I would only request that 2 things to be cleaned and that was (1) the coffee pot in the bedroom and (2) the bedroom floor which was dirty from the rug and the host asked you to remove your shoes when you enter the house. I would stay here again because it was only 69 per night and well worth the cost.

バス停が家のすぐ目の前にあり、便利でした。オーナーの方がとっても親切で、洗濯までしてくれました。部屋にはシャワー、トイレ、レンジ、冷蔵庫が付いていて快適に泊まることができました。素晴らしいゲストハウスで、自信を持ってオススメできます。またカナダに行った時はこちらに宿泊したいと思います。
