Vetter Family Reunion at Palm Island Resort

Great escape to Palm Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent two day getaway on PI and thoroughly enjoyed the break. The location to Rum Bay (Restaurant) was perfect. The only downside was the coffee maker which resort team said they would replace upon our departure (3 star). We plan to build on island and recommend staying at the resort for anyone wanting a private, non-commercial type of vacation. Old Florida still exists!

Nice long weekend in January

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The usual excellent location and customer service made this stay enjoyable. The condo had a couple of glitches, but the property management was responsive. The oven and stove kept cutting out...not really much they could do about that during just the weekend. Of course, no remuneration was considered.

Post covid short trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked our two night stay for May 2021. There weren’t many available condos and overall the stay was great. We have been 4 times before over the years but this was the first time being on the first floor. Our first night was pretty noisy as the people upstairs were back and forth running and we heard everything so it was hard to sleep. The second night was much quieter as I think they must have left. After that things were great and we really enjoyed it. Next time we will be sure to find a spot that is upstairs as you hear every step being taken.

Perfect Island Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This one bedroom beach villa was a perfect location for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed an ocean view breakfast on the back porch and we were just steps away from the beach. This location is a short walk to Coconuts and Rum Bay restaurant. The check in process was a breeze! A valet took all of our items right into our unit in one easy trip. The unit was very clean. Some of the basics were provided (paper towels, dish soap, etc.) so be prepared with everything else you need. The pools and grills were not yet available during our late April stay, but it didn't ruin our trip. We would certainly rent again.

We love Palm Island!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been coming to Palm Island for eighteen years now and think it’s the best beach anywhere! This was our second stay in the unit and it suits us to a T. The only problem we had this stay was the dryer didn’t work. We don’t like having to bring back dirty, sandy clothes😧. Other than that, absolutely wonderful!

Relaxed Island Resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The one bedroom condo was updated and very clean, and well furnished. This particular unit (3514) was well located on the resort property, near the Beach Villas pool (which, unfortunately during our stay, had a heating malfunction, and we didn't get to use it.) We were allowed access to another pool, but farther away. WiFi service was almost non-existent. Luckily, our unit was located near the Coconuts Ice Cream Shop so we walked there at least twice a day to use the internet. Overall, enjoyed the place and would go back again.

Don't forget your mosquito soray

Housekeeping not the best sand in the bed pots dirty in kitchen and countertops pn the sticky side. They have a serious mosquito problem and should warn guests. We'll be back hopefully less mosquitoes next time.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

Our visit was relaxing and all that was made possible by the facility and staff. Lunch at Rum Bay was delicious!Although our experience was not hampered by the following, it certainly would have made the stay easier...additional garbage bags in the unit, some type of cleaning supply, beach/pool towels (or a reminder in your communication to pack our own).We'll be back!
