Great stay

Great house, comfortable for hosting a big family. Beautiful oceanfront views! Nice big kitchen for cooking and hosting family dinners. We would love to stay at this property again!

All good with the place. Clean, amazing location, amenities, pet friendly … but it is due for a renovation. Definitely stuck in the 90’s to early 2000’s. I’m not saying it’s not ok, but it would be nice to be a decade or two closer in appearance and condition. Would I rent this place again? Maybe…

Nice Place

We truly enjoyed the Blue Pearl. The view of the ocean is amazing. The house is well laid out. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed and no shortage of place settings, silverware, glassware or just about anything you would need to cook with.

Wonderful place

Our family loved this house because of the available rooms, bathrooms, secluded private pool, hot tub, pool table, elevator, and closeness to the beach. The views were awesome. The beds were comfortable and not hard. Loved that it was so close to Duck and Kitty Hawk. Only negative was that the top floor was hot in the very hot summertime. We had a fantastic time here and owner was very responsive to questions. Thanks!

The location was excellent however the write up for the property said it included an elevator and it did but access directly from the front of the house was not available. You could not access the elevator on the first floor without going around to the back of the building. This was because the ground level access was through the garage and the garage was locked and not available to us. We had we had elderly guest with us, and that made access to the house difficult. They had to walk up one flight of steps and we had to carry all of our supplies and luggage up one level before accessing the elevator.Linens and towels were provided, but there was only one bath towel per guest provided

Perfection on the beach

This house has everything. It is right on the beach with a very short walkway to the public access over the dune. Our family of 6 adults and 2 small children got plenty of use out of the pool and hot tub. The main living area is comfortable and functional with a spectacular view of the ocean. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The master bedroom was especially large and comfortable. The only trouble we had was locating the washer/dryer (they are in a closet accessed from the master bedroom closet.)

Elevator issue

The elevator as advertised was not for disabled. Had to climb one steep steps to get to floor with elevator. I had heart surgery in April but fortunately I was able to slowly climb when needed. Others may not be so fortunate. I definitely think it should be explained. Rented many homes with elevators and never had to think if it was on ground floor. Other things about house were fine.

Hi Ruth, we used the Level descriptions to explain which levels had elevator access (2 & 3) and which did not. We're sorry to hear you had to struggle to access the stairs, but do hope your heart surgery went well and some time at the beach helped with recovery.
