OM GREYSTONE LODGE




Greystone Lodge ligger vid basen av Blackcomb Mountain bredvid NEW 10 Person Blackcomb Gondola och Magic Chair-liftar. Ett boutique-stil lÀgenhetskomplex med endast 50 enheter gör Greystone Lodge till en av de mindre semesterorterna i Benchlands-kvarteret i Whistler. De fyrtio fotfönstren i de loftiga enheterna ger Greystone Lodge sitt fantastiska utseende för förbipasserande och bra utsikt över bergen för gÀster som upptar dem.

För avkoppling och bekvÀmlighet gÀster Greystone Lodge hittar en uppdaterad utomhus uppvÀrmd pool och nya stora badtunna tillsammans med en inomhus badtunna, duschar och gemensamma tvÀttstugor. Det finns en myntstyrd tvÀttstuga i byggnaden samt en varuautomat för snabba mellanmÄl. Unikt till Greystone Lodge Àr gratis underjordisk parkering, nÄgot svÄrt att komma i Whistler. GÀsterna bör varnas att underjordisk parkering har en total höjdgrÀns pÄ 6 fot 8 tum. Stora SUV med skidhÄllare passar kanske inte i tunnelbanan och det finns mycket begrÀnsad parkeringshöjd vid lodgen.



Lokala bekvÀmligheter




Inom ett mycket kort gÄngavstÄnd hittar gÀsterna skidskola, skid- och snowboarduthyrning, cykeluthyrning, restauranger, en spritbutik, en liten mataffÀr och olika butiker. Promenaden till Whistler Village tar ca 7-10 minuter till fots, men en bybuss kommer varje 7 minuter pÄ vintern och var 15: e minut under de andra mÄnaderna. BusshÄllplatsen ligger bara en kort promenad frÄn lobbyn.



ANDRA AKTIVITETER



Golfare kan njuta av Chateau Whistler Golf Course, en av de finaste golfbanorna i British Columbia, bara en kort promenad frÄn lodgen. Lost Lake Park ligger bara nÄgra minuter frÄn Greystone Lodge dÀr gÀsterna kommer att hitta bra vandring, piknik, simning och fiske under sommarmÄnaderna och nordiska skidspÄr pÄ vintern. Basen av Blackcomb blir till ett barnparadis pÄ sommaren nÀr det omvandlas till en jÀtte lekplats som erbjuder ridning, en klÀttervÀgg, olika turer och nöjen, minigolf och mycket mer. Dessutom kan besökare pÄ sommarveckorna frekventa Whistler Farmer's Market att hitta lokalt gjorda hantverk och mat som ligger vid basen av Blackcomb Mountain.

Fantastic location and great hot tub pool

Lovely location easy ski in ski out. Right across street from bus stop. The hot tub and pool were fantastic. They could teach cleaning people to vacuum better. popcorn and the things underneath the easily movable coffee table. Other wise perfect.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean condo. Comfortable beds. Screen doors needed repairs.Location was slighly higher up hill than we thought based on description. If we were older, that would have been an issue. Suggestion: Since you don't have a consistant front desk staff, it would have been helpful to have had more info like: up to date bus shuttle info at main desk (nothing there). We stayed at the Coast Blackcomb last year and the only reason I understood the shuttle system is because i was on the mountain last year. The Coast has a convenient Bus shuttle schedule typed out and at the front desk for visitors--specifically telling people:Pick up time at their hotel (the Coast) and pick up from the Village. This was not evident at Greystone and hard to find this info out. Also, would have been nice to have a sign explaining 'exactly where' the shuttle pick up is. If its your first time there, please don't assume people know. Because they don't. there was a lady I found sitting in a back office---and I asked her. She was a woman of few words though--but gave me the location of the bus shuttle. Perhaps also explain to people when they rent what exact supplies are in the unit! i.e No dishwasher soap provided even though there was a dishwasher there (If I knew that i would have brought from home). Otherwise a nice place to stay. I liked the surrounding trees, shrubs. Very pretty. Just please have more information at your front desk for people to pick up.

Perfect snowy views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great location for skiing and there was lots of snow during our visit. The spa was good too. (Although the code door system is ridiculous and too many numbers to make it practical - & it's different again for ski lockers which hard to work) The unit was spacious but could do with little things like some shelves in ensuite bathroom for shampoo, soap, etc Also the kitchen utensils pots and pans need replacing. Money also should be spent on the building as its now becoming old & tired! Overall the accommodation is perfect for a holiday and I would recommend it.

Nice Clean Property but VERY Noisy

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wanted a true "ski-in/ski-out" experience but not exactly what you get. The property was nice and very clean which is the most important, but this unit is right above the outside door, grill and pool area. You can hear everything outside as well as people above the unit and outside the door. This building is not soundproof by any stretch. Also, you have to walk quite a distance to get to the area under the lift, so lugging your skis and equipment is a bit of a chore. Will choose something closer to the lifts or slopes next time.

Convenient Clean and Comfortable

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful experience - Clint and Kristy who run the property were very helpful throughout our booking experience and the actual stay was excellent - We got ski-in ski-out, a very comfortable stay, convenient location and excellent transport options - free of charge whistler shuttle which made life SO much easier. Food was easy to order in and the whole place is set-up to make life easy and enjoyable on holiday. Spa was great - and the other people in the property were pretty considerate and very little noise after hours....probably everyone SO tired after a day skiing! Overall, a GREAT holiday experience and we would come back. Thank you Clint and Kristy.

Unprofessional management company - dirty unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to find the suite dirty and linens that spelled like body odour. The first day of the vacation was spent washing linens and tidying up for the stay. Otherwise the location was as promised, the free parking and wifi were convenient and the overall renovations of the suite were comfortable. The pool and hot tub were close to the suite and were enjoyable for the family. When we returned home, pictures of the uncleanliness of the suite were sent to the property management company to advise. This was met with excuses, denial and accusations that the photos sent were taken at the end of our stay rather than at the beginning, insinuating that we had created the mess and were somehow trying to blame housekeeping - still unclear as to what the property manager Clint believes was to gain by this as the unit was paid for in full and at no time was anything requested for compensation, only feedback so that others would not be subjected to this dirty suite. We will not do business again with Acer vacations or stay in any building that they represent as they clearly have a different standard of cleanliness and customer service than what we are accustomed to.

Air conditioning did not work and continuous problems with the electrics in the apartment. The way the property was managed did not make it easy to coordinate maintainence and in all honesty I am on holiday I don't need the hassle.
