The Space:
When you arrive through the front door, you will come to the main landing where you will find space to take off your outdoor gear before heading further into the home. At the main landing, you can either go up or down the stairs to the different levels of the home. The upstairs features the main living area with an open kitchen, dining room, and living room, and access to two outdoor decks. The downstairs features the home’s three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Head up the stairs and arrive at an open living room, kitchen, and dining area with vaulted wood ceilings and windows all around, creating a bright and airy space with a warm, cozy cabin style. The open layout allows for easy entertaining and socializing, as the various areas flow seamlessly together. The large living room provides an inviting and bright space to relax with two couches providing space for 6-7 to sit comfortably, a 65” smart TV, and bookshelves with books and games to enjoy. In the heart of the living room is a lovely wood-burning fireplace with a beautiful stone hearth. From the living room, you can access the large front deck, where you will find a propane bbq and outdoor dining area with forest views. During the summer months, this space is a great outdoor extension of the living room, providing an opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings and cook up some delicious meals.
The connected kitchen and dining room are on the other end of the main living area. The chef in your group will love the spacious kitchen and open layout, so they can stay connected with your group while they prepare a meal. The kitchen boasts a kitchen bar with two bar stools, stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and a well-laid layout making it a modern and functional space for preparing meals. The dining room just off the kitchen has a large table that seats 8. With views from the windows surrounding the table, this is the perfect place to enjoy meals with friends and family! From the dining room, you can access the back deck where you will find a peaceful and isolated outdoor space with a 7-person hot tub, so you can soak away as you relax and unwind in the fresh mountain air.
When you are ready to tuck in for the night, this home offers excellent separation of living and sleeping space with all three bedrooms on the lower level. Head down the stairs, and you will first arrive at the master bedroom, a large cozy room with a comfortable king bed, matching nightstands with lamps, and a large mirrored closet. The master bedroom has the added comfort of the en suite bathroom, an updated space that boasts a single-sink vanity and a freestanding shower with a glass door and a small built-in bench.
Down the hallway from the master bedroom are two additional bedrooms. The first bedroom is located on the right side of the hallway and is set up as a bunk room with a twin over full bunk bed in a charming log bed frame, perfect for kids in your group to share. This bedroom also includes a dresser, twin trundle bed located under the bunk bed and a large window with views over the forested area. Across the hallway is the third bedroom where you will find a queen bed, matching nightstands with lamps, a dresser, and a large closet with sliding mirrored doors. In this closet, you will find extra house supplies such as additional blankets, a railing for the bunk beds, and baby equipment to use for those traveling with young children.
Conveniently located between the two bedrooms is the second bathroom. This clean, updated space boasts a single-sink vanity and a shower/bathtub combo. A washer and dryer are also located in the hallway closet downstairs and include beach and hot tub towels for guest use. Note, while guests have access to parking in the garage, there is no entry point into the home from the garage.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, which include a private hot tub. Guests will also have access to two parking spaces in the attached garage, and space for two more vehicles in the driveway.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located within the Tahoe Park HOA. Guests of the home will have access to use the private (shared with the neighborhood) beach and piers. The beach is well-maintained and has plenty of space for sunbathing, swimming, and playing. There are also plenty of amenities available for visitors, including restrooms, picnic tables, and BBQ grills. Adjacent to the beach, the park features basketball courts, bocce ball, horseshoe pits, and more for your group to enjoy during the warmer months.
This North Lake Tahoe home is surrounded by a beautiful forested area less than 10 minutes from Tahoe City, the perfect location for enjoying the scenery and nature of the area while being minutes away from town! A short walk up the street will take you to the public access for the beautiful Paige Meadows which is great for an easy family stroll or a big adventure into the mountains along the famous Tahoe Rim Trail. The famous Sunnyside Resort is a 5-minute drive and right next to Tahoe Park where you can have a great meal or rent any type of watercraft imaginable. Enjoying some of the best slopes in the area at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Palisades Tahoe, both located within a 15-minute drive from the home placing endless outdoor adventures at your fingertips.
Getting Around:
Take advantage of the home's close driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Tahoe area public transportation, known as TART, has a stop just over 1 mile from the home. This stop is on the Mainline and is stop Hwy 89 at Pine Ave which runs every hour.
Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
Please note that it frequently snows in Lake Tahoe in the winter months and as this home is well above lake level on a hill, it gets A LOT of snow. If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. In the winter, we strongly suggest a truck or SUV with AWD or 4WD and all-terrain tires. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them.
Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
Note that the patio furniture are only out and available for use from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend.
