Welcome to Cowboy Cottages - Cottage A is a 2 story log home located at the front of the 4 acre treed retreat with 2 ponds and lots of parking. The home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a main floor master bedroom. Open living/dining and kitchen. The upstairs loft has a full size bed. The second bedroom is located upstairs with both queen and twin bed and private balcony. The home is dog friendly with both front and back yards (no fences). Both front and back decks are covered with views of ponds and mountains.

Honeymoon Stay

This place was perfect! Very clean, and the hosts gave clear instructions for the property. The location was ideal between beautiful hikes and close to the city. We will recommend this place for others traveling to this area!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Cowboy Cabin! A great location and easy to make day trips to nearby towns and state parks. The cabin is adorable and had all the amenities we needed plus beautiful views.

Beautiful cabin in wonderful setting

We had a great stay. This cabin has been beautifully decorated and appointed in a great location. Only issues were with small flies getting in and a short power outage.

Cozy Cabin

We loved our stay here. The cabin and property are wonderful and just like the photos. We brought our dog and he enjoyed being able to roam the yard. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Charming getaway

We had a great time at this lovely home. Plenty of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the comfy beds. Plenty of space for everyone to come together but also get quiet down time. We had a great time and highly recommend!

Great cabin, conveniently located

Great cabin. Nice and clean. Conveniently located between Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction. Too close to highway and train for a light sleeper like me but otherwise we loved it. Beds are harder so be prepared for that too.

Got married at Rifle Falls perfect location

Lovely little cabin close to Silt

We stayed in this cabin for four nights while we visited the nearby state parks and went to Glenwood Springs. The location worked well and the cabin has a decent-sized kitchen where we cooked most of our meals. The kids enjoyed the sand volleyball pit which was unexpected but appreciated.

2 dogs and a Cabin in the Woods

We loved the cabin here in Rifle, just wish that there was more room between us and the cabin up the street. And that the area was more secluded. But overall, the cabin and area was beautiful. The dogs loved being able to run around free!

Family Getaway

My husband and I are traveling with our four children ages 16-6. This cabin fit us perfectly, enough beds for everyone and just enough room for us to hang out and enjoy a meal together. The property owner and his wife were very attentive throughout our stay. The cabin was in a good location for us to drive to all of our planned activities. Our kids also enjoyed playing on the sand volleyball court.

Beautiful place

This place was the perfect stay for me and my friends who were visiting from out of town. Im a Colorado native and i was desperate to show my online friends the beauty of Colorado and this place was the perfect get away for The 7 of us. When we needed propane for grilling the property manager immediately provided us with what we needed and was very polite. Overall very friendly owner, amazing sight, and the perfect cozy getaway. 10/10 ⭐

Best Place in the WEST

We arrived early and was graciously allowed to begin our stay. The cottage is as show, cute, comfy and welcoming. The caretakers we conversed with were kind and friendly. The shower is amazing, great pressure and plenty of hot water, the very best in 2500 miles! Everything you need is provided, even some snacks. When traveling back this way, this will be our number one choice.

Cabin in the woods

Great little spot! Very clean/organized. Small home, but room to sleep 7-8, though we were only a party of 2 with our 2 dogs. Great bonus points for being dog friendly. Our pups enjoyed the yard space, which we lack back home. We didn’t mind being further from Glenwood, as we like to be a little secluded. Loved having my coffee on the front porch rockers. We had a fantastic view of the 9/29 Super Moon! My only negative feedback, is the lack of insulation on the house, therefore you can really hear the cars/trains throughout the night. Other than that- great stay! Wouldn’t mind coming back for a couples weekend.

Never made it

I messaged Cody and asked for a late or next day check in, without any response, he cancelled my stay and refunded my money. I drove all the way from Florida and had to make last minute reservation at a hotel. I give zero stars to communication.

The access right off Hwy 6 is conveniently located with privacy, trees, ponds and lots of parking. Enjoy swimming at the Hot Springs or soaking at Iron Mountain, visiting Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, all within 30 minutes. End your night on the back deck with a cookout on the Blackstone grill and roast marsh mellows with the gas firepit. Beautiful country setting 20 minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs. Sunlight Ski area and Powder Horn Ski resort are 45 minutes away. Enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country skiing on the Flat Tops Wilderness Area located 30 minutes away. Rifle Mountain Park and Rifle Falls are 15 minutes away with rock and ice climbing. Harvey Gap is a small lake in Silt for fishing or paddle boarding.
