Welcome to Cowboy Cottages - Cottage A is a 2 story log home located at the front of the 4 acre treed retreat with 2 ponds and lots of parking. The home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a main floor master bedroom. Open living/dining and kitchen. The upstairs loft has a full size bed. The second bedroom is located upstairs with both queen and twin bed and private balcony. The home is dog friendly with both front and back yards (no fences). Both front and back decks are covered with views of ponds and mountains.

This place was perfect for our family vacation. It was a close commute to Glenwood Springs which was where we spent most of our time. Kitchen was well equipped and blackstone grill was a nice addition. Kids had fun playing volleyball and bean bag game. Would definately book this again if we are ever back in this area.

The cabin is beautiful, surrounded by trees - an oasis in the desert. Every morning I had a bird experience on the front deck. So great!The kids loved the rustic 'bar' and the sand pit/volleyball court.Bring your ear plugs for the nightly train.

Great property! I especially love the backyard. It’s very large and heavily treed with nice grass. The kitchen is a good size and absolutely fully stocked with everything you might need.

Secret Hideaway

This stay was 10/10 favorite place we’ve ever stayed! The cabin was absolutely perfect and beautiful. It is surrounded by nature but still a close drive to get to any story. They were so well stocked, we forgot some of the little things and they had it! The hosts were so kind and accommodating and our family dog who is fairly old and tends to sleep a lot loved exploring the area and acted like he was 10 years younger! We will absolutely be rebooking and we loved using the blackstone to cook on so much that we’re getting our own! Thank you so much to our fabulous hosts for making my mom’s birthday a special one!

Quiet & Peaceful

This cute cabin was just the perfect size for the 5 of us. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, playing cornhole and tossing the ball in the spacious yard for the dog. Just a short drive to Glenwood Springs and another hour to Aspen. Beautiful views from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to bed. It was definitely the quiet and the peacefulness we needed.

Wonderful location

We rented the cabin for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay immensely. It was close to everything we wanted to visit. The cabin was very cozy, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. Also the grounds were spacious and allot of fun for our two small doggies.

Great cabin, conveniently located

Great cabin. Nice and clean. Conveniently located between Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction. Too close to highway and train for a light sleeper like me but otherwise we loved it. Beds are harder so be prepared for that too.

Honeymoon Stay

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Cowboy Cabin! A great location and easy to make day trips to nearby towns and state parks. The cabin is adorable and had all the amenities we needed plus beautiful views.

Beautiful cabin in wonderful setting

We had a great stay. This cabin has been beautifully decorated and appointed in a great location. Only issues were with small flies getting in and a short power outage.

2 dogs and a Cabin in the Woods

We loved the cabin here in Rifle, just wish that there was more room between us and the cabin up the street. And that the area was more secluded. But overall, the cabin and area was beautiful. The dogs loved being able to run around free!

Beautiful place

This place was the perfect stay for me and my friends who were visiting from out of town. Im a Colorado native and i was desperate to show my online friends the beauty of Colorado and this place was the perfect get away for The 7 of us. When we needed propane for grilling the property manager immediately provided us with what we needed and was very polite. Overall very friendly owner, amazing sight, and the perfect cozy getaway. 10/10 ⭐

The access right off Hwy 6 is conveniently located with privacy, trees, ponds and lots of parking. Enjoy swimming at the Hot Springs or soaking at Iron Mountain, visiting Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, all within 30 minutes. End your night on the back deck with a cookout on the Blackstone grill and roast marsh mellows with the gas firepit. Beautiful country setting 20 minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs. Sunlight Ski area and Powder Horn Ski resort are 45 minutes away. Enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country skiing on the Flat Tops Wilderness Area located 30 minutes away. Rifle Mountain Park and Rifle Falls are 15 minutes away with rock and ice climbing. Harvey Gap is a small lake in Silt for fishing or paddle boarding.
