Beautiful Cottage on Large one Acre Private Lot
This lovely rural cottage is nestled back in the woods on its very own private acre of land. It offers guests a beautiful getaway experience while walking the property or hanging out on the large covered front porch; while at the same time being just a 7 minute drive from downtown Eureka with its many delicious restaurants and adorable boutiques. If Six Flags is your goal you can enjoy the hustle bustle of the amusement park during the day and relax after a 15 minute drive back to the cottage.
The space
The master bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, drawer space and a beautiful view of the property. The other bedroom has two twin beds (one's a pullout) along with a closet and draw space. We also have a trifold twin mattress for extra sleeping accommodations. The living room is filled with natural light and has two comfortable couches (one that doubles as an extra sleeping space) and a 40â TV loaded with over 300+ channels from Direct TV. We have a kitchen island with four barstools for hanging out and eating. Our lovely large deck has several chairs and two large fans for cooling off during the summer. Our yard is fenced in and surrounded by bushes for added privacy. This property is a certified wildlife habitat. Click here for a tour https://vimeo.com/570703263

We are on our own private acre of land and have a large parking lot for about 6 cars. There is a gate at the end of the drive way for maximum privacy and piece of mind. The cottage is equip with a keypad that is programed with a custom code for your stay (changed after each guest). We are right off of highway W, two minutes down Twin River Rd.
Other things to note
Our cottage has a double set of stairs leading up to the door that are easy and safe to navigate, but unfortunately because of this we are not handicap accessible.
We have a nice large driveway with plenty of room to park 5 or 6 vehicles. We recommend that you turn around before leaving the property (rather than backing out) because of the limited visibility of oncoming traffic. It can even be helpful to roll down your window and listen before pulling out of the driveway.
There is a large detached garage which is locked and inaccessible to our guests but is a good way to confirm that youâve arrived at the cottage as youâll see it while pulling up.
Because our cottage is located in a more secluded area we have a limited amount of high speed internet usage available. Absolutely NO ONLINE GAMING. Our internet is only meant for browsing the web and social media. There shouldnât be any problems, but we ask that you help make sure we have enough for everyone by turning off any streaming when you arenât using it.
We are very welcoming and would love to have you bring along any of your non-human friends, but we do ask that you message us if you plan on bringing anything other than dogs just to give us a heads up.
Our sleeping arrangements include one queen, three twins, and a couch. We just updated the queen to a Casper mattress! Please be sure to check out our listing photos and make sure this set up works for your group.
