Cozy but noisy

The room was good. The only issue we had was the a/c. We probably like the room to be colder than most people so it was a little warm and louder than we expected.

Good overnight to break up my trip

Very Comfy

Nice location in the countryside and our little dog was welcomed. The host was friendly and helpful with suggestions for good places to eat. Had a great time in Laurel, highly recommend the open air limo tour of the “Home Town” houses.

Fantastic Host and Property!

I don’t know if I’ve ever been treated as well as I did here. My wife and I booked our stay and brought our dog with us. We were welcomed and treated as if we were family. The property is immaculate and the room was extremely comfortable. I can’t adequately put into words how grateful we are that we had such a great host for our anniversary trip. We will definitely be back.

Just what I needed

I was in town for an ultra marathon and it was just what I needed. Quiet area so I could sleep both before and after the race. Russ was super friendly checking in.

Not what was expected

This room is attached to the home the owners live in. The walls are super thin and we could hear EVERYTHING loudly. It appears that the house in the picture is the place. It is a bedroom within the house. Not at all what was described. We didn’t stay and the owner never responded to our texts. I never write bad reviews. If we had known what it actually was, we would not have gotten it.

Out stay in Laurel, MS

Room was clean & spacious. The grounds were amazing, quiet & peaceful. The host was super amazing Mr. Russ & Mrs. Jackie were very friendly & was concered our stay was going good. We will be back. I highly recommend a stay with them.

Great proprietor, decent place to stay

The owner of this property was as nice and accommodating as could be, but the room was a little strange. It bore no resemblance to the photos on the website - if you want to play pingpong or chess, you’re out of luck. It also had no windows to the outside. It had three large windows looking into a hallway which was traversed fairly often by the owner. And every time anyone entered the hallway from outside, an automatic light came on in the hallway. It was a bit disconcerting even with the blinds closed. The air conditioner was very loud as well. Still, it was clean, spacious and comfortable. Not a bad experience.

Wonderful out of the way stay

This was a beautiful property away from the hustle and bustle of town. Located in trees far from the road. You were greeted by the owner who was very personable and enjoyed talking to him and his wife. We loved our room, we enjoyed walking around and looking at the property and liked how close it was to our destination. The room was spacious and comfortable. Ample storage space for food, clothes and bath products. Large bathroom with great lighting! A must for all women. We definitely recommend this place and would go back if ever in the area again.

Quiet retreat

The location was tucked away on a wooded hilltop outside of Laurel. Quick drive to resturants and downtiwn Laurel. Clean and neat. Comfy bed. Russ was very friendly, accommodating and laidback. Price was on point.

Owner was great! We found this at the last minute and would definitely stay again. The property is in development so it is not complete. But for the price that is a non-issue.

Wonderful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It was nestled quietly in the woods away from the hustle and bustle and noise of downtown Laurel, however, very convenient to all attractions. The host could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Great price.

Country Escape

Great place for a couple to stay if visiting Laurel MS. Fantastic hosts, very clean comfortable room about 4 miles North of town. Very affordable.
