From sun-up to sundown, you'll love this perch on beautiful Torch Lake's eastern shore, just a mile or two north of Dockside. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home gives you the warm feel of a vintage cottage, with all the cleanliness and comforts of a modern hotel. Sip your coffee on the deck, listen to the loons, and savor the sunsets. Spread out on 150 feet of waterfront, swim in the famously crystal-clear water, or soak up the sun on the platform attached to the end of the dock. The large yard is perfect for sports activities and a cookout on the gas grill. At night, gaze at the stars while roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, creating memories that will keep you warm all winter. This cottage offers an open floor plan, so if you are cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, you can still be part of the fun. Enjoy your meals on the big front deck to enjoy the sun. Whether you spend your time enjoying all the lake has to offer, visiting the shops in Bellaire and Alden, golfing at one of the area's world-class courses, sampling craft beers at Short's Brewery or wine at nearby vineyards, you will have the best week of your summer. And if you're into biking, bring your wheels and enjoy the trails at nearby Glacial Hills Natural Area. The location of this home is also ideal for day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Northport, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Mackinac Island, all within a pleasant hour or two drive. Or, you can do nothing at all and enjoy all the beauty Torch Lake has to offer.
For boaters, the property has a brand-new mooring anchor for renters to use. Sorry, no air conditioning, but it has an attic house fan pulling up cool air from the basement, and refreshing breezes off the lake through the windows. We want you to enjoy your stay and have a wonderful time. A few simple rules: No parties, additional guests, camping or campers, excessive noise, smoking, or pets.
We require that all renters be 25 years of age or older.

Beautiful lakeview

We reserved house for June 19, 2022 thru June 21, 2022. Location is nice, house has everything you need, and lakeview is gorgeous, however, there is no central air ac in the house. one of the days the temperature reached 85 degrees inside.

Family getaway

From the moment of booking, our stay, and check out, our experience was better than perfect. Communication was on point and always timely. Information provided did not lack and all needs for guest/ mgmt expectations, check in/out were clearly communicated and shared in a friendly manner. The home is nestled on a beautiful property right on the water. The sunsets are beyond picturesque and they can be seen from every angle in the home. The house was clean, quaint, tastefully updated ( yet maintained that rustic feel!) well stocked, welcoming and cozy. When the windows are open, the cross breeze is reminiscent of being right on the beach. My family and I ( two young boys, my mother and my spouse) had so much fun exploring the board games, books, outdoor details of nature and dipping our feet into the water ( it was too chilly to swim!). We will be back and hope to explore more of the water and sports that go with it! We could T of asked for anything better. Thank you for the memories and relaxation!
