About this space
Once inside our fully gated property you will be immersed in a lush tropical garden with palms surrounding a lagoon style pool. We are just a 2 minute barefoot stroll along a private lane to the soft white sands of Kailua Beach. Built in 1938, our home is full of Hawaiian charm and Balinese character. We are within walking distance to town and to all of the amenities that Kailua has to offer.
Villa Frangipani can be rented for a 30 day minimum stay.
The space
Villa Frangipani is the perfect holiday getaway for extended families or for couples or friends traveling together.

Bedrooms:
We have 4 spacious bedrooms.
-Master 1 with ensuite and King bed
-Master 2 with ensuite and 1 King and 1Twin XL
-Twin Room with 2 Twin XL beds (bathroom is just
beside this bedroom)
-Master 3 (Upstairs) with King bed and ensuite
(there is also a sleeping loft if needed)
*Please note that the upstairs bedroom has a separate entrance and is accessed via a spiral staircase.
Bathrooms:
We have 3 full ensuite bathrooms (2 with bathtubs), 1 full bathroom just beside the Twin room, as well as an outdoor shower.
Air Conditioning
All 4 bedrooms have both fans and AC. There is split AC in the 3 main floor bedrooms and a window mounted AC in the upstairs bedroom. There is no AC in the living/dining areas or in the kitchen. However with plenty of louvred windows catching the trade winds and ceiling fans throughout, the house is pleasant and breezy.
Living/Dining
Our dining space is bright and airy with soaring ceilings and skylights. There is a large dining table which can seat up to 10.
There is plenty of space for relaxing, in our open plan living area, our covered lanai, on the spacious outside decks or in the lush and private garden.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is bright and well-equipped with everything you will need to feed a hungry crew or to create a gourmet meal. We have a kitchen nook table, full stove and refrigerator, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, instant pot, and vitamix blender for your convenience.
Laundry Area
The washer and dryer are located just off of the kitchen under the covered lanai.
Beach Toys
We have beach toys, snorkel gear, boogie boards, paddle boards and surf boards as well as a cooler, beach chairs and a wagon for your enjoyment and use.
Bicycles
There are 3 adult bicycles with helmets and bike locks.
Parking
We have one dedicated parking spot inside our garage.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and garden.

Kindly note that in compliance with Honolulu legislation our home can be rented for a 30 day stay. Special rates may be available at different times of the year. Please contact us.
Please also note that in accordance with Hawaii State Law, for rentals less than 180 days, we are required to collect and remit 3 taxes: Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT) of 10.25 %, General Excise Tax (GET) of 4.5%, and Oahu Transient Accommodations Tax (OTAT) of 3%. This will be collected by Airbnb via special request.
Our GET/TAT number is GE1725441024-01.
