Property was lovely, warm, clean, felt new but also rustic. The setting is beyond beautiful. The fall colors were amazing! Communication with the host was easy. Property can be a bit hard to find at night. We arrived in a sedan which was fine in good weather, but with snow the last mile might be tricky. The water occasionally runs brown so I would recommend bringing drinking water.

Very clean! The access to the pond is a little ways down the road, with a pretty rough trail to the pond and there’s very little bond space, just a dock. That being said, property was perfect for what we were looking to do!

Lovely, clean property nestled in the woods. Very peaceful and relaxing! The host was great to communicate with for any questions we had. The walk down to the water was not far down the road. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. New Ipswich and surrounding area is beautiful. We were impressed with cleanliness of cabin, timely communication on our questions. We hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our time at the lake house! The deck and fire pit was fun and everything was very nicely decorated and had enough supplies to make it very easy and a quiet peaceful setting!

Perfect weekend getaway

This bungalow was perfect for our weekend away! Very clean and the dock on the pond was the perfect touch. the property manager responded to my question super quickly as well. We would love to visit again soon! :)

Nice quiet little bungalow. We had a decent stay overall.. but there was some things we were not a fan of like the squeaky bed and the pond not really being on the property, it was a short walk down the long driveway. Oh and also the water pressure in shower was pretty weak.

Great place for a quick escape. Quiet area with a great pond and hiking! Super clean. The pond is clear and serene, a short walk down the road from the bungalow. The cabin is adorable, but I would have loved a few more curtains; the windows are very open. Also, the place begs for lamps, especially for reading; only overhead lighting, which is a but harsh.

The house was cute, private and clean. That being said, the listing is titled “on a pond” with pictures leading one to believe it’s on the water. We showed up late at night, so it was dark, and there was no email or message with arrival instructions. The owner was unavailable to help (it was late), and the property is poorly marked for when it’s dark out because the number was up high, non reflective and set far back from the road (we found the marking in the morning). The road and driveway are quite rough, fortunately we have a 4WD vehicle, but not great for a small car. Finally, to our great disappointment, the property is NOT on a pond, but rather sits in a community with private pond access, across the street and down the road. We were unable to find another property when we arrived within an hour, so we were stuck there. The cottage was cute in and of itself.

Pros: - The forest is lovely, it's a very peaceful and quiet area. - Host is very responsive, friendly and helpful. - Dock area on the pond is very nice Cons: - The listing includes a spa whirlpool which does not exist on the property. - There is a grill but it's too rusty to actually cook food on, so the upcharge for propane isn't worth it.

The bungalow is beautiful, well-maintained and very clean. It was private and quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit and the pond. We were however, disappointed that the listing is a bit misleading. The home itself is a 5 to 7 minute walk down the driveway, down the road, and then down a trail to where access to the pond is. The home is actually across the street and up a hill from the pond. From the photos and description we believed we were renting a waterfront property. Hopefully the listing will get updated, and no one else will be disappointed. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and still enjoyed our coffee on the deck overlooking the woods instead of the water.

Nice cozy cabin with the basics

Pros 1. Good communication with owner2. Updated / New clean appliances and kitchen3. Nice outdoor patio and fire pit area Cons:1. Water was brown colored and had to bring own drinking water (owner said it would go away since we were first renters of the season)2. Dock is 4- 5 min walk from property and down and across the street (the listing wasnt clear) and came with it's own parking spot in the bushes3. Bed was squeaky (loft bed hard to climb to for adults)4. Some construction noise from neighboring plots
