Duke University Graduation

Lovely home, well appointed and comfortable. Hosts were responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend this VRBO and would certainly come back again. Close proximity (short drive) to Duke University.

Football weekend in Durham

Nicely furnished house w great first floor layout .. easy self check-in process, too. Convenient to downtown Durham and Duke University. If TV was hooked up, I couldn’t figure it out . Not a neighborhood to walk around in but great location.

Diamond in the rough

The property was exceptional, we truly enjoyed our stay. The only fault we found was that the neighborhood was not the best. I should’ve done more research so that’s my fault, but there’s a club right next door that was loud (since we stayed the weekend) until the wee hours of the morning. Even though the neighborhood wasn’t ideal, no one bothered us. There are aLao ants in the kitchen, no issues if you don’t leave food out. But overall great place to stop in for a few days. The house was phenomenal.

Wonderful weekend with friends

Our party -- a family of three, plus an old friend -- had a great time in our weekend in Durham, which was primarily set up around meeting with university friends who stayed in the Triangle. The house is in good shape, clean, and very spacious; a couple other friends came by and we were all very comfortable in the living spaces.The only criticism is that it's clearly a rental property, so things are not all the best set up for actually living in -- e.g. there weren't hand towels for all the bathrooms, the coffee pot is tiny, the kitchen doesn't have a lot of cookware, stuff like that. It's a really great space in a nice enough location, but it could use a few homey touches.

Perfect for a Duke University event

We stayed here for a graduation weekend at Duke University. It was perfect. It is a lovely house. We could host family for dinner. And we were an easy drive to all of the events. We would be happy to stay there again.

The downtown Vibe. Fine and causal dinning, Performing arts, Festivals and lets not forget, Duke University, Central University and the University of chapel hill are all just a few minutes away. With North Carolina state university, Shaw university and William Peace University in our capital city.
