Denna kreolska stuga, byggd 1829, ligger bara tre korta kvarter från det franska kvarteret på Pauger Street. Det har totalt fyra rymliga rum. En egenskap hos kreolska stugor är att det inte finns några HALLWAYS och alla rum är anslutna. Gatuparkering är tillgänglig men vi kan inte alltid garantera det.

Det första rummet har en bäddsoffa i queen-size storlek (med nystrykade sängkläder) som ger extra sovutrymme. De ursprungliga 190 år gamla långa lövgolvet har refiniserats för att ge platsens skönhet. Det finns 2 läsnings- / konversationsområden och ett trevligt jutetepp. AC / värmeenhet kommer att hålla rummet mysigt året runt.

Det andra rummet är det stora sovrummet med en TALL king size-säng (strykade lakan och örngott), armoire, nattduksbord, kabel-TV, sängmattor och samma vackra golv. Observera: Snälla hjälp oss att behålla våra lägre priser. Ingen färg hårspray, färsk färg eller smink är tillåten på sängen - det fläckar lakan och täcken. Tack.

Det tredje rummet har ett runt matbord / stolar, en iMAC (med WI-FI), AC-enhet och ett litet läsrum.

OBS: INGEN GÄSTER LÅTT Hålla OVERNATT UTAN BETALNING.

Köket är en ljusgrön färg för att "vakna dig" på morgonen. Små apparater (brödrost / ugn, mikrovågsugn och kaffebryggare) är inredda tillsammans med kaffe och te. Kylskåpet i rostfritt stål i full storlek har en ismaskin. Köksvasken har inbyggda dräneringsbrädor och har tagits bort till den ursprungliga finishen.

Badrummet har plattor och dusch har gjort om. Toalettartiklar och handdukar samt badrockar kommer att tillhandahållas. En hårtork är en del av dessa bekvämligheter.

Utanför köket finns en privat innergård med frodiga tropiker, bord och stolar, och en stor privat KLÄDNING VALFRIT badtunna. TUBET ÄR ENDAST FÖR BETALNING AV GÄSTER - INga undantag.

Som en del av vårt hem är denna RÖKFRI / CANDLE GRATIS hyresavdelning ENDAST vuxen (Gayägd, rakvänlig). Alla personer måste vara 21 år eller äldre. SORRY, VI KAN INTE FÖRBJUDA BARN.

This was my friend and I's first venture to New Orleans and we are SO glad we booked this home. Not only was Ron friendly and hospitable, he was also extremely knowledgable. I really appreciated all of his insight and tips for venturing into the French Quarter and I really enjoyed learning about the history of the home. Amazing stay

We loved our time in NOLA, and a big portion of that was due to our stay. Ron and Mark's home was perfect. Comfy bed, very clean, stocked kitchen, great back yard, prime location and truly gracious hosts. It's clear that they have have put a lot of hard work and love into their home. We loved getting to know them and were grateful for the conversations we had and the history we learned from them.

What a Joy to stay here!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for three nights while visiting New Orleans and it truly did not disappoint!! From our first interaction with Ron upon arrival until we left with hugs and beautiful beaded necklaces, we had a fantastic stay. The unique home is so eclectically decorated, there is always something new to discover. The mattress is very soft and comfortable with extremely plush linens. Yes, I had to use the small steps to get into the bed (I’m 5’2”) but it was like sleeping on a cloud! The bathroom is small but had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved the hot tub! And the location was perfect for walking the streets of New Orleans. We walked everywhere we went except for the one day it rained. We quickly realized our 3 days in NOLA weren’t enough so we will be coming back…and we will definitely make plans to stay with Ron and Mark again!!

Fantastic

We enjoyed our stay in the unique and historic home. It was very comfortable. We liked the ability to cook some of our meals and sit outside.The owners, Ron and Mark, went above and beyond in their hospitality. Ron met us and provided us with information not only about the house but the history of the neighborhood. He had recommendations on where to eat and suggestions on places to visit.The location is within easy walking distance of the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. We listened to music every night on Frenchmen. There is a nice grocery store within three or four blocks and the bus line is close.There was coffee and tea provided along with a few staples like olive oil, salt and pepper.The ONLY caution we might have is that the bed is high. There are steps provided but if one has a mobility issue this might be a problem. With that being said, the bed was VERY comfortable. We had no problem getting in and out and we are in our sixties.We stayed for five nights. We highly recommend this property and can not say enough good things about it or the proprietors.

Marigny retreat

Lovely space in a great location for music and food in New Orleans. Feels like you moved into the neighborhood. Walk everywhere. Great bed and hot tub!

Historically grand time!

If you're into staying in a real New Orleans neighborhood, close to everything that's necessary, this place is for you! We loved the historic building and its furnishings, and the welcome from our hosts. The Hot Tub is a big plus, after a big day of walking and Second Lining, dancing and exploring New Orleans. Special thanks to Mark and Ron for the TLC, like walking me to the grocery store upon my arrival when I was VERY hungry for Gumbo and VERY tired from traveling. Great hospitality!

We have stayed here at least a half dozen times over the past 12 years. The accommodations started out great, and have continued to get better year after year. Mark and Ron are extraordinary hosts, and consider every detail. We love our time spent here.

A lovely old home in the heart of New Orleans

The home is an old shotgun house, lovingly maintained and beautifully decorated. It’s a short walk to a large grocery store and drug store. A 15 minute walk to the French quarter and some great jazz clubs on Frenchman Street. The hot tub wonderful addition. We really enjoyed our stay.

Can’t Beat The Hosts!

Wonderful hospitality! Gave us great tips and information starting out. Was able to call and ask questions and we’re always very swift in responding back. A snow storm hit and they were kind enough to let us stay free one extra day due to the circumstances. Need I say more? If you want to know you are taken care of and will have a great trip book here!

Best Experience Ever!!!

Ron was extremely hospitable, kind and helpful. We were greeted upon arrival and given valuable insight and resources to make the most of our visit. Very cozy and cool place to stay. The hosts truly do think of everything to make their guests comfortable and it was so greatly appreciated. The time Ron took to walk us through any questions was something that I have never gained from a host. Location is absolutely perfect! Would 100% recommend.

Perfect stay in NOLA

This lovely home-away-from-home on a quiet street had everything we needed and so much more that we didn't take advantage of. My husband and I were in town for 3 days and 4 nights. Hosts Ron and Mark kept in touch to meet us, give us the rundown on the home and the neighborhood and were always available by text to answer any questions and give updates. The gorgeous, extremely comfortable home had plenty of cozy seating, a great king bed, full kitchen and bathroom, washer/dryer and a generous outside courtyard and hot tub. Embarrassingly, we were so busy in town that we never took advantage of so much of this. I especially regret not relaxing in the lush plant-filled courtyard. We easily walked to the French Quarter and caught a rideshare when we were venturing further. We definitely lived like a local, lacking nothing in this home and hope to call it home again on our next trip to NOLA. Thank you Ron and Mark for welcoming us so warmly!

Perfect in every way!

We are frequent visitors to New Orleans, and this was our second time to stay here. The apartment is clean, well-appointed, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. Ron and Mark are excellent hosts. Their attention to the smallest details make each visit special.

Perfect space to enjoy the Marigny!

We loved staying at this VRBO! The house is in a convenient location and they provide excellent recommendations for places to eat or things to do. For folks going in winter, the small heaters they have in each room work great for keeping the space warm, and the window ACs were excellent on the one warm day we had. It’s a beautiful space and the back yard and hot tub are a perfect oasis to feel immersed in the city and feel private and protected. The kitchen has all the things you need for preparing a meal, although you likely won’t need to. The tea varieties on offer and easy hot water were extra lovely for us. Truly a great way to experience regular local life and walkable destinations.

You’ll love a hot tub soak after a long day of walking!

We had a fabulous stay at Ron’s! He was a wonderful host. Gave us a tour and history of the home, and recommendations for the best spots to try (and where to avoid!). The location was perfect to walk downtown, to get to Frenchmen St, Bourbon St, or Royal St. I would 100% stay here again!

Staying in History

What an awesome place to stay. Upon checking in Ron met with us and gave us a tour of the property and gave us the history of the home. It’s pretty cool getting to stay in a home that is over 200 years old. The home is kept very clean. It was the perfect place to stay for our anniversary. We walked just about everywhere we went so staying here puts you close by everything. When we come back to New Orleans we will check availability here first. Thanks for being amazing host.

Oasis in the Marigny

The house was clean, cozy & cool. The backyard was a little piece of heaven, so relaxing. Ron & Mark were incredibly warm & welcoming. They were so helpful with suggestions on things to do & places to eat. We will definitely stay with them again.

Fabulous New Orleans getaway

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in New Orleans. This listing caught my eye because of the amazing vintage decor and private patio with hot tub. Ron met us when we arrived and showed us around the amazing property. Ron gave us history of their Creole cottage. A card and bouquet of flowers greeted us for our anniversary. Talk about thoughtful, it was above and beyond. You can walk to so many areas and we always felt safe. They left us maps and restaurant suggestions. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you would need. The cottage was spotless and cozy. My husband loved the history books you could read in your spare time. We hope to stay here in 2025 when we bring our friend to visit the area.
