Beautiful completely remodeled Wisconsin Northwoods cabin situated on a pristine fishing lake in Rhinelander Wisconsin. Includes dock, canoe, fishing boat, and more lake toys for your enjoyment. There is a flat approach to a nice quiet fisherman's bay to enjoy renowned walleye and musky fishing. Plenty of space and privacy to enjoy campfires and relax while getting views of bald eagles and the occasional pileated woodpecker. Owls are frequently heard and see after dark. Public boat ramp is nearby to launch your own boat and take advantage of the lake's wide-open areas for skiing, wakeboarding and tubing. An ideal get away for deer camp, viewing the fall colors, and bird watching. Close proximity to KwikTrip, Wal-Mart, and restaurants. Enjoy!

Beautiful Lakeside Cabin

Quaint lake cabin. Comfortable and quiet. Great fire pit. Fishing was great. Close to Rhinelander. Very attentive and helpful hosts. Definitely a cabin I will come to again.

Cabin in the woods

More accommodations than expected. We packed way too much!!! Very quiet. Still close to many stores. We didnt have the greatest weather, but thats just mother nature. The lake was beautiful! A sport and fishing lake. Thanks again

Nice

Clean quiet cabin. Everything you need is there. Only a short stay for us but better than paying for a hotel room. Caught fish off of the dock. Close enough to Rhinelander but felt farther away. Didn’t use the boats but it was an option for us. Very nice place , small but quaint. Wouldn’t mind staying there again if the need arises. Thank you.

A Perfect Place to Stay while Playing at the Dome

A perfect place to stay while our daughter played at the Hodag Dome. Owners were highly hospitable and we immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. We enjoyed a bonfire (plenty of wood) between games and enjoyed the coffee, s'mores left too! Only 7 minutes to the Dome, so our daughter was comfortable and relaxed with such an easy commute to warm ups. Beautiful property (clean, had enough for our basic needs... towels, linens, etc.) If we play here again, we'll request to stay again. Thank you!

Amazing!!!!!

Literally had everything you thought you could need. So quiet, yet a few minutes from town. Owls in the evening and deer in the morning. Perfect getaway for family and pups. Will definitely be back!!!

Great cabin in a great location.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very nice and very clean. We enjoyed fishing on the lake every day. The cabin was far enough out of town to feel like you were "up north" but close enough so we could run to get things we needed or forgot. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Wished we could've spent more time there, but we were in town for a softball tournament. There is plenty to do there, and it is very peaceful.

Summer stay

Very cute updated little cabin. Owners were great with communication when needed. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed and then some. It was peaceful and quiet there. The lake is beautiful. We had a wonderful time.

Fishing trip

I rented the owl cottage for a northwoods fishing trip with my son and friend. I had great communication with the property owners prior to my arrival, and they provided us fishing maps of lake Thompson. As for the property, it was perfect for us. Two bedrooms with a bunk bed in one of the rooms, a small kitchen bathroom and small living room with fast Wi-Fi. They have a very nice dock which allowed us to tie up a 17 foot fishing boat, and the boat launch is just down the road. There was a swim platform we used, but we didn’t use any of the water toys, but they were available if we wanted to use them. Overall it was a great experience, and definitely worth the stay!

Clean and Cozy Rustic Lakeside Cabin

Cute little cottage that fit our family of 5 comfortably. Our girls stayed in the bedroom with bunk beds and baby’s bassinet fit perfectly next to the bed in the other bedroom. The furniture fit the cottage perfectly and provided enough places to sit and relax. Lots of nice little touches from the hosts throughout and a really nice roof over the front porch to enjoy outside when it rained. Communication with the host was always very quick and we really enjoyed our stay.
