Normally would keep my negative comments to myself or simply share privately with the property owner so that they can fix they issues without bad mouthing them publicly since that is my style. However, I feel it's important that other potential travelers be forewarned about the property and host treatment of guests. When we first arrived I took my 2 year old son into the bathroom to change him and immediately noticed a hairball on the bathroom rug in front of the sink and a towel on the floor between the tub and the toilet. Yuck! It only got worse from there. Second bedroom is a loft space open to the rest of the main space with no privacy or safety to use as a true second bedroom and this was not clear from listing. Throughout our stay we dealt with thin walls and noisy neighbors keeping us up at night, dishes found dirty, cobwebs in the loft windows/curtains, a live cricket in the dishwasher and stuff growing in the brita in the fridge, amongst other grievances, all of which I was going to consider letting go, until we were messaged incessantly after check out when the host's crew apparently could not find the remote. The host was extremely rude and accusatory even though I assured her that it was left on the couch and that we hadn't done anything with it. I let her know about the cleanliness issues and she replied that her cleaning service is the best. She filled a theft claim for the remote for 110 which is absurd. Feels like a scam. Recommend others steer clear!
