Chasa Berggold House in the Heart of Brienz
You will stay in a cozy condo on the top two floors of âChasa Berggoldâ. The house has living and dining areas, and one bedroom on the main floor. The kitchen, bathroom (with shower tub combo), and 1 toilet (W/C), are also located on the first floor of the house. The second floor of the house has three additional bedrooms, a small balcony with a breathtaking view over Lake Brienz, a dedicated workspace and reading nook, and one additional toilet (W/C). The unit offers 2 TVs, sofa, ottoman, dining table, and kitchen with dishwasher.
The main entry to the house leads to a staircase that takes you to the apartment, which is located on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Main Floor (First Floor of Apartment)
Living and Dining Area: The tastefully furnished living area has a dining table with 4 chairs, sofa and matching ottoman, armchair, TV, radio, wifi speaker, and lake view.
Kitchen: The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, storage space, oven and 4 ring hob/stove.
Bathroom:
W/C and separate bathroom with tub shower combo.
PLEASE NOTE:
The bathing room with shower/tub combo is located on the first floor, with a separate room just across the hall housing the toilet (W/C). The house house has a total of 2 W/C rooms (one on each floor) and bathing room (first floor). The set up is ideal for groups and larger families.
Bedroom 1
The main floor of the apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, cube storage, a chair, and 2 bedside tables. Bedroom faces Main Street and has a mountain view.
Second Floor
After walking up the stairs to the second floor of the apartment you will find a dedicated workspace and reading nook. To your left will be an additional W/C and the second floor bedrooms.
Bedroom 2
Lake view bedroom with Juliet Balcony. Queen Bed and nightstand. Table with two chairs, hand basin, chest of drawers, and TV. Connecting pass through door leads to the Bunk Bed Bedroom.
Bedroom 3
Main Street facing bedroom with double bed, nightstand with reading lamp, and dresser. Small Juliet Balcony with Mountain View.
Bedroom 4
Bunk Bed Bedroom with single top bed and double bottom bed. Sitting bench, toys and reading materials, games and musical instruments. Access to this room requires passing through a connecting door from Bedroom 2. This room is perfectly suited for families with children, or groups traveling together.
NOTE: To access the room one must pass through Bedroom 2. The bunk bed bedroom does not have a separate entrance and is connected to Bedroom 2 by way of a pass through door.
The property has no parking. However, day parking tickets can be purchased for CHF 8 per day at the Tourist Center directly across the street from the train station. With the daily parking permit you can park in the immediate vicinity.
Since the apartment is spread over 2 floors and there is a toilet on both floors, the accommodation is ideal for 4-6 people. The house is not particularly suited for very young children Chasa Berggold welcomes young guests age 5 and older. While we are able to provide an infant crib and pack and play for guest use, the original floors found in some areas of the house are not especially suited to roaming toddler feet and knees. The accommodation offers enough space for everyone. The view over Lake Brienz is unique and the location close to the train station and shopping facilities is ideal.
