Cute and historic

Overall the property and hosts were amazing. They live on the grounds and although they were working in the yard, they never invaded your personal space while staying there. I have to say that the street noise was a tad much but to be expected with the proximity to downtown. Historic touches throughout the home along with the grounds made for a beautiful backdrop for our trip.

Amazing!

This property did not disappoint at all. It is exactly as it shows in the pictures and then some! Absolutely beautiful! The location is great! Not far from the square easy access to anything you could want. Denise was always available when I had questions and very welcoming. Will definitely book again when we come back this way! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great location and beautiful home!

We came into town for a birthday weekend and had a great stay. The house was beautiful, clean and well appointed. All of my inquiries were responded to promptly and we were given great suggestions for places to eat and things to do and see. Highly recommend staying here to anyone and we will be back! Thank you!

Great Get-Away

Had a great weekend while there for The Indy Race at The Nashville Super Speedway. Close enough to the track, but a refreshing slice of hometown rather than downtown Nashville. Cute little shops and restaurants.

Girl’s Trip Quiet Getaway

This was the perfect space for a quiet getaway to read, relax, play games, and enjoy a hot tub. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail combined the history of the home with modern conveniences. We will absolutely be back to visit.

Wonderful place. The house is beautifully renovated and is better than the listed pictures. We had everything we needed during our stay. The owners live nearby and are always available if needed. We will happily come back if we need to stay in the area.

A True Gem

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at the High Tea Cottage for an early Christmas visit from out of town. Located in a relatively historic area of Downtown Murfreesboro, this place was absolutely beautiful. The structure has been completely renovated with modern amenities while many aspects have been restored or preserved. The pictures just don't do it justice.Check in was a breeze and accommodations were made to allow us to arrive a bit earlier to drop off bags. Instructions were very clear and thorough on procedures for entry and exit. Communication was excellent.The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had state of the art appliances. The floors were beautiful. The furniture was elaborate with many peices looking historic as well. Master shower was fantastic. All-in-all, we highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again for our next visit.

Fantastic Stay!

Very clean and well decorated rental. This rental was actually better than the internet description. Very comfortable place to use for down time while visiting all the sights on Tennessee. Denise and Spencer are amazing people and very accommodating. Location is great and a short walk to historic downtown. We plan on staying here again and I would definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone staying in Murfreesboro.

Local Retreat

The bedroom space is perfect and the upgrades to the property are gorgeous! This is a bit of a hidden oasis and within walking distance to some fantastic opportunities to explore downtown Murfreesboro. Great space. Excellent communication and responsiveness by the host.

This property is fabulous ,impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The photo’s really don’t do justice to this historical gem. It is very roomy, allowing privacy for multiple people. The owners are very welcoming and take obvious pride in the home. All anppliances are updated. I would stay here again 100%

Beyond Expectations

This place will wow you! They have restored the house with great attention to detail. It is amazing! The rooms and beds were so comfortable and roomy. The space is divided up so that you can reduce noise flow if people want to sleep when others do not. The kitchen is well stocked. The host was very communicative. Make sure you give the hot tub a little time to warm up before you use it but it is great. You can see lightning bugs flying around in the evening and it is a short walk into the heart of town. Just lovely!

The cottage was originally located on Main Street and later moved to its location. Through the decades it has stood the test of time adding charm to the neighborhood. The cottage has been added onto and renovated with a tasteful mix of period pieces boasting modern conveniences.
