Cute and historic

Overall the property and hosts were amazing. They live on the grounds and although they were working in the yard, they never invaded your personal space while staying there. I have to say that the street noise was a tad much but to be expected with the proximity to downtown. Historic touches throughout the home along with the grounds made for a beautiful backdrop for our trip.

Amazing property!

This home is amazing! It is truly unique and filled with so many interesting pieces of history. The home is also filled with everything you could need, including plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner/bath wash in both bathrooms, plenty of toilet paper, and even laundry detergent in the laundry room. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes and cookware and there were even some k-cups and creamer! We travel alot and this was probably the cleanest Vrbo we have stayed in! I dropped and earring and it rolled under a dresser…it was spotless underneath. I wish I could find a housekeeper to do such an excellent job at home. Denise was very accommodating and communicated clearly throughout the entire process! We will certainly look to stay here again if we are ever back in the area. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with our family, Denise!

Murfreesboro Delight

Nestled a few steps off historic Main Street, this charming home offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The single-story residence features a welcoming front porch, well-manicured lawn, and secured parking in a spacious driveway. Inside you’ll find this home squeaky clean, quite spacious with a generous rooms where natural light floods through large windows creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, stone countertops, well stocked amenities, and a large island seating six. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the home provides plenty of room. Outside comfortable seating, a fire pit and hot tub. Located just minutes from shopping, dining, and 40 minutes to Nashville. We couldn’t have been happier staying here.

Great location and beautiful home!

We came into town for a birthday weekend and had a great stay. The house was beautiful, clean and well appointed. All of my inquiries were responded to promptly and we were given great suggestions for places to eat and things to do and see. Highly recommend staying here to anyone and we will be back! Thank you!

Great Get-Away

Had a great weekend while there for The Indy Race at The Nashville Super Speedway. Close enough to the track, but a refreshing slice of hometown rather than downtown Nashville. Cute little shops and restaurants.

Wonderful place. The house is beautifully renovated and is better than the listed pictures. We had everything we needed during our stay. The owners live nearby and are always available if needed. We will happily come back if we need to stay in the area.

Fantastic Stay!

Very clean and well decorated rental. This rental was actually better than the internet description. Very comfortable place to use for down time while visiting all the sights on Tennessee. Denise and Spencer are amazing people and very accommodating. Location is great and a short walk to historic downtown. We plan on staying here again and I would definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone staying in Murfreesboro.

A True Gem

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at the High Tea Cottage for an early Christmas visit from out of town. Located in a relatively historic area of Downtown Murfreesboro, this place was absolutely beautiful. The structure has been completely renovated with modern amenities while many aspects have been restored or preserved. The pictures just don't do it justice.Check in was a breeze and accommodations were made to allow us to arrive a bit earlier to drop off bags. Instructions were very clear and thorough on procedures for entry and exit. Communication was excellent.The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had state of the art appliances. The floors were beautiful. The furniture was elaborate with many peices looking historic as well. Master shower was fantastic. All-in-all, we highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again for our next visit.

Beyond Expectations

This place will wow you! They have restored the house with great attention to detail. It is amazing! The rooms and beds were so comfortable and roomy. The space is divided up so that you can reduce noise flow if people want to sleep when others do not. The kitchen is well stocked. The host was very communicative. Make sure you give the hot tub a little time to warm up before you use it but it is great. You can see lightning bugs flying around in the evening and it is a short walk into the heart of town. Just lovely!

Loved every minute!

I fell in love with this house the minute we walked in! After reading the history on the home I was immediately on a scavenger hunt to find the vintage items that were noted from the original parlor lights to the wallpaper shadow box & the concrete stepping stones on the front curb! The pictures do not do this place justice! The house was bigger than expected, very clean & equipped with everything we needed. We were in town for a youth softball tournament and with the split floor plan, it could have easily been shared with another family. Will keep that in mind if we find ourselves playing in Murfreesboro again!

5 Star Property

It’s amazing to think that this historic cottage was built in the late1800s. The renovation made it a beautiful, modern, tasteful home with the needed advantage of lots of electric outlets, perfect lighting in high ceilings, and fans that add just the right touch as the efficient A/C keeps the house at a perfect temp. It’s very well thought out for comfort! The kitchen has everything needed- all high quality. The 4 beds are very comfortable with high quality linens, quilts & throws. 4 TVs give plenty of options. The rooms are divided in such a way that there is privacy, including pane glass doors which give the feel of 2 wings of the house. That was perfect for our family of 6. The furnishings are high class and comfortable. I was amazed at the quiet within the house. I say this because we were in Murfreesboro during the Cicada brood activity and as soon as we closed the door, the sound was gone. The property is enclosed by a security gate so we felt extra safe even in such a nice area which is great for walking around older established homes away from the very busy thoroughfares of Murfreesboro. Pucketts is a 4 minute walk away as is the farmers market. The variety of fresh fruit & vegetables made shopping easy- also Publix less than 3 miles. The host is very responsive, kind & easy to work with. We didn’t use the spa, but it looked new & inviting-nice outdoor furniture & grill. Games for kids- perfect condition & selection. Great Wi-Fi! Great showers! Super clean! 5 Star!
