Luxurious sea-view villa with a private pool, jacuzzi - 3km from the sandy beach

VILLA YOLO is fully air conditioned and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious TV/living room which lead out through large sliding doors onto the outside terrace. For your comfort the whole property is located on 1 level which includes a semi covered area ideal for outside dining at all times of the day or night. The villa comfortably accommodates 6 guests and is ideal for families. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed and ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds which can be easily pushed together, and the third bedroom has a sofa bed that opens into a double bed. All beds feature high quality Sealy Posturepedic mattresses. The bedrooms all have sliding doors which open onto the terrace which leads to the swimming pool.

The private swimming pool has a beautiful view overlooking the sea. There are lounge chairs, shade umbrellas and a patio with a BBQ and dining area surrounded by plants and greenery. Multiple seating puffs are available for lazy lounging around the pool where there’s also a convenient outdoor warm water shower.

From the courtyard there are stairs leading to the roof terrace where there is a 5-seat Jacuzzi and comfortable seating areas surrounded by greenery. Overlooking the sea views is a marble bar counter to enjoy refreshing sundowners with family and friends

VILLA YOLO, located in the picturesque, ancient village of Aspro in western Crete, is nestled near a quiet and secluded forest and olive grove. The villa is set on a ridge with panoramic views overlooking Souda Bay and Almyrida beach, as well as an amazing vista towards the majestic snow covered (in winter) White Mountains.

The peaceful village of Aspro is a popular starting point for both hiking and cycling enthusiasts.
The typical, charming seaside village of Almirida is located just a few minutes drive away, and boasts a large variety of taverns, cafes, bakeries, shops and other amenities such as ATM’s and a Pharmacy. Almerida has its own scuba dive center as well as windsurfing and watersports activities. This iconic village is well known for its white sandy beaches. The old historic village of Gavalohori is only 3 km. away from our villa.

Wish we would have stayed more

Family of 5 | we were in Villa YOLO near Chania (Hania) for 6 days and we absolutely loved it. First, the Google Maps was very accurate (mind you, the road leading there was rather steep) and the welcome we had from the property manager was 5*+. The cleanliness of the Villa was superb and the kitchen was very well equipped (we love cooking), including a charcoal BBQ with grill and equipment (just remember to buy charcoal at nearby grocery). The kids loved the pool and the Wifi, we really appreciated the Spa and the large patios. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was crisp. We travelled around to different beaches, but the kids kept insisting to get back to the pool. The sunsets were also spectacular. We highly recommend this place for 5-6 persons.

Wonderful family holiday accommodation

We have just returned from 10 glorious days in Crete staying at Villa Yolo. The Villa is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for lazy days and eating in. As a family of 6 with 4 older children the outside area was perfect with all the different seating areas around the pool or up on the roof terrace. The location is great and close to all the tavernas - thoroughly recommend Psaros down in the village for a great Greek meal. We did find it wasn’t really an easy walk in to the village - whilst it isn’t far as the crow flies it is a very hot walk and coming back is very steep so would definitely recommend car hire for your stay. We would definitely return to Villa Yolo - the perfect escape with the most wonderful view to wake up to from your bedroom or look at from the pool. Both the owner and George were also very helpful both prior to our visit and whilst we were out there making the whole trip super easy. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Amazing villa Amazing location

Superb villa, amazing view, perfect for our young family. A day before we left England George (villa manager) rang to let us know to text him when we are leaving the airport to send exact location of villa. When We arrived George was there to meet us and showed us round, also he had gave us a amazing welcome pack which was a lovely surprise. George was always on hand to give any advice etc. The villa itself is amazing, so clean and modern and comfortable. Bath, pool and beach towels provided. The outside space is very big, a lovely pool and hot tub upstairs which is great in the evenings. The view of the sea from the veranda, pool or roof terrace is amazing. 5 minute car journey to Almyrida where we ate most evenings sitting in the restaurants meters from the sea. Communication with the owner was great from start to finish. All in all a 5 star villa and would definitely recommend.
