We frequently rent vacation homes and are usually thrilled with the accommodations, but we found this rental lacking. It is aesthetically pleasing and well stocked but it lacked the cleanliness and privacy we sought. The biggest issue we experienced was the dirty oven that set off the smoke alarm the first day we arrived. We had to air out the house from the smoke to quiet the smoke alarm. It was an unsettling experience for everyone in our family. Once notified about the stove, Alicia sent in a cleaner the next day to clean the oven. Having the cleaner come into the home interrupted what was to be a peaceful time away without people coming and going. Due to allergies and sensory sensitivities we could not be in the home when the stove was being cleaned. The cameras onsite (front and back of the cabin) are intrusive. We would not have stayed at this location had we been aware of the cameras. The condition of the stove made us wonder what else hadnât been cleaned before our stayâŠWe were happy to be leaving at the end of our stay and didn't find the stay worth the cost.
