Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space located just three miles from the beautiful beaches of Fort Lauderdale! This is a luxurious and newly renovated single family home located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood in the heart of Fort Lauderdale close to major attractions. Whether you are here for work or pleasure, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a great central location close to everything that you might need for your trip to Florida, this is the place to be!
The Space:
This is a mid-century modern style home with a carport and parking for two cars with a large front yard and fenced in backyard. When you walk through the front door with smart lock, you'll enter the main open concept living room and kitchen space. To the right of the entrance is the primary bedroom and large en suite bathroom, and to the left are the second and third bedrooms as well as the second bathroom. If you walk straight ahead from the front door through the kitchen, the glass double doors will lead you onto the covered back patio with outdoor dining and into the backyard.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of a small closet that remains locked for the housecleaners.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located in the North Andrews Gardens neighborhood of Oakland Park, about three miles west of the beach, and about four miles north of downtown Fort Lauderdale. This is a peaceful residential community with lots of gorgeous mid-century ranch homes located close to all of the fun that Fort Lauderdale has to offer.
Getting Around:
There are lots of amenities and shops within walking distance of the home, but for further trips I would recommend either driving or using a ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft. The home has two parking spaces in the driveway for guest use.

I relocated to Florida during the pandemic and completely fell in love with the warm sunny weather and friendly people here! Over the years I've owned and managed several long-term rental properties and even operated a car rental business, but I've always been excited about the idea of having a short-term rental.
Right now I live in Fort Lauderdale only a short drive away from the short term rental that I have on Vrbo. The home I have listed is actually the first home that I purchased when I moved to Florida and I took great care in trying to make it ready for guests.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
I bought this home when I first moved to Florida because I fell in love with the neighborhood and the house itself. When you arrive in this neighborhood you immediately feel like you are in Florida; there are lush tropical plants all around and the homes have a cohesive mid-century style that is very characteristic of South Florida. The inside of the house has been totally renovated to maintain a distinctly modern look and feel. I love that the house gets tons of natural light throughout the day as it is a constant reminder of the excellent weather that we have here year round!
Additionally, the neighborhood that this house is in is very quiet despite being surrounded by lots of major attractions in the Fort Lauderdale area. The house is only 3 miles from the beach and 4 miles from Downtown Fort Lauderdale; it's also only about 2 miles to Wilton Manors, which is a vibrant community with tons of fun restaurants, shopping and nightlife. When I lived here I could get almost anywhere that I wanted to go on a regular basis within a 10 to 15 minute drive.
Additionally, the neighborhood that this house is in is very quiet despite being surrounded by lots of major attractions in the Fort Lauderdale area. Vad som gör detta boende unikt
When I started my home buying journey, this was actually the very first house that I saw in person and I loved it so much that I had to make an offer before even seeing anything else. In fact, I wasn't even 100% sure that I was ready to buy something, but when I saw this pop up online I went to see it and made an offer the very same day. There's something special about the house that made me feel instantly relaxed and at peace, so I hope that I can share those feelings with you as well.
