Welcome to your ideal seasonal destination! Located just a few steps from not one, but TWO gorgeous Massachusetts beaches, enjoy this spacious private single family home with amenities throughout. Offering three private bedrooms with queen or king beds as well as a loft and living room offering sleeping set ups, this property is a great fit for groups of all sizes. Equipped with a full kitchen offering island seating, a dining room, living room, private office space, and a back yard/ large deck, there is plenty of space throughout the property to relax and enjoy your vacation rental.

Included in your rental are linens for all bedding as well as towels for your stay, along with other necessities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. WIFI, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, full cookware & dishes, and smart TVs are some of the other features you'll find inside. Outside and in-season, beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach needs are also provided.

A two story unit, you will find the kitchen, living room, dining room and two of the bedrooms/ one bathroom on the main level. Upstairs, the master bedroom/bathroom, loft, office space, and laundry station can be found. Deck is off the main level. The grounds also includes space for 3+ cars comfortably, with room available for others as needed. Speak with the owner for best way to arrange!

Aside from the accommodations provided on-site, the property is a short walk to both Good Harbor and Long Beach beaches. Pro tip - stop by Surfside Subs on your way back from Good Harbor for the best ice cream! Additionally, a short drive to the historic & quintessential towns of Rockport and Gloucester inclusive of activities for the whole family! Some recommended activities include whale watching, sailing, fishing and checking out a lot of wonderful restaurants and shops.

In the fall, you are a short train ride away from the historic towns of Salem & Boston to get in the Halloween spirit as well as the beautiful NH/Maine woods with all of the fall seasons breathtaking color.

** NOTE: There is a basement studio apartment occasionally rented that shares nothing with the VRBO guests except driveway access to a garage. Yard, deck, porch, patio, parking etc are all VRBO guest use only.

Bridesmaid's Home Base

This property was gorgeous and much more spacious then the photos made it appear. It was a very comfortable set up to hang out as a group as well as having some space to spread out individually. Great property for a group. Very close to Hammond Castle as well as the train station for a Boston/Salem trip with the group if you didn't want to drive. Only downside, the driveway can be a little tricky to manage at times with it being such a sharp angle off the main road and being kinda steep. If you have multiple cars, it can be a little game of shuffling to get them all to fit without blocking the garage door, but definitely manageable if thought of ahead of time. There were no parking signs on the road by the house, we managed having all cars in the driveway but I'm not sure how far those signs are valid. Definitely recommend! The home felt very welcoming, like you were a part of the family.

Perfect Home

I highly recommend staying here, especially for larger groups. We had 4 kids (3-11) and 6 adults. There was plenty of space for sleeping and living space. We never felt cramped. There was PLENTY of towels, sheets and even beach towels. There were games for the kids and adults, kitchen is very spacious and fully stocked. Kids ate at the kitchen bar while the adults ate at the dining table. Everything was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised when pulling extra sheets and or blankets from the closet they were all freshly clean. We’ve been to many places that made me nervous using their bedding, but not here. Pat was always quick to respond and honestly made me feel like we were her personal guests. There were 2 bottles of wine there welcoming us to her home. We all felt at home, it is very cozy and comfortable. We do have family in the area that we visit but they cannot accommodate the 10 of us, which we all want to come back during the summer when we have more time to enjoy Cape Ann and all that it has to offer. Thank you Pat, your home is the best VRBO we stayed in!

Wonderful spot for a family beach week!

Pat was super friendly and helpful during our stay. House was immaculate and exactly as advertised! Home provided enough space for our family of 9, and the well stocked kitchen was a great place to spend time together after a long sunny beach day. Short walk to the beach, and lots of nearby fun for rainy days. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Pat!!

Good Harbor vacation

Our extended family of grandparents, parents, and grandkids fit in this house very comfortably, with room for a couple of cousin sleepovers. Nicely furnished, kitchen has everything you might need, and plenty of space to dine in or out. The outdoor living area is great and safe for various grandchild hijinks.Just a short walk to the beach, and just as importantly, to the ice cream stand! Reading previous reviews, will say driveway may be daunting at first, but not unusual for this area, and there is ample parking, which is unusual for this area. No odors of any kind, house was immaculate. The owner is great communicator and low stress, easy rental process start to finish

Family Vacation

Our family had a fantastic vacation at this home. We walked to Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach to avoid parking fees there. Both are beautiful beaches. The home has absolutely everything you will need in the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. Also provides towels, boogie boards and cart for the beach. The outdoor space was fantastic for family games, BBQing, making s’mores on the fire pit, and just relaxing and reading on the patio. We loved exploring Rockport, Gloucester, Salem, and Boston. There are 3 formal bedrooms and one couple stayed in the loft. (Can get quite warm in the loft in the month of July) There are A/C units only in the 3 bedrooms. The owner does provide plenty of floor fans to help cool the place a little. Great communication with the owner anytime we had a question. We loved the location of the home, very close to everything. We loved our nightly walks to the ice cream shop. Just a very short car ride to the local market for food. We loved the privacy of the home and yard, and the space inside to accommodate all of us. It was so nice to vacation where we didn’t have to pack so much stuff because this home truly had everything. Thank you for making our family vacation one to remember!

From Kansas to Gloucester for a wedding.

The house was perfect for me, my son and his family, and my sister and her kids. It allowed for my parents to come and visit also. Walking to Good Harbor and the ice cream shop was wonderful. Only downside was the smell of pet urine was at times over bearing. Otherwise would book again when visiting my son who has become a transplant in Gloucester.

Wonderful home, excellent host

This home is fantastic. It has 3 formal bedrooms and 2 pullout couches that met our needs perfectly. Smart tvs with lots of streaming services. Bedding, towels, shower soap/shampoos, suntan lotion and a fully stocked kitchen with kerug coffee pods, bottled water and even welcome bottle of wine. Pat, the host, was communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. It felt like home.

Cozy House / Awesome Location!

Generously-supplied cozy house w/ dated, but very well-stocked kitchen & baths in great location! Walkable to Gloucester’s legendary Good Harbor Beach. Tricky, steep driveway which requires safest entry via southwest-bound direction. Really clean, well-lighted residence & w/ lots of natural light & conveniently-placed outlets for portable electronics in every room. Superbly welcoming host (Pat Morris) who was incredibly attentive & caring our entire stay! Easily accessible to downtown Gloucester & neighboring towns of Beverly, Manchester By The Sea, Essex, & Rockport. as well as easy drives farther afield to Newburyport, MA, Portsmouth, NH & Kittery, ME.

Spacious yet Cozy

We rented this home for it’s convenient location to our family throughout the Boston area. This home is 5 minutes from great shops and restaurants in downtown Gloucester. We held a wedding reception for our daughter and son-in-law with the owner’s permission of 45 people. We had plenty of space for serving lunch and cake and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. She even supplied 3 tables for the party. Three family members spent the weekend and they all raved about how comfortable the pull out couches were. We made breakfast on Sunday morning and everything we needed was available in the kitchen. The weather was great so we spent a lot of time on the back porch. Pat, the owner, was constantly available to help us with our event, answering my texts promptly. While her driveway easily parked 8 cars, she went out of her way to get us additional parking from her neighbors on either side of her house. I have to say that this home was unequivocally the best VRBO we’ve ever rented and we hope to return next year to enjoy it again!

Best of host

Everything was above my expectations. We had a great long weekend. Pat was the best host of my many stays. She made us feel welcomed without ever being there in person. Anything or information we needed was already there. There was. Plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the back yard ,both beautiful and private.The beach was a few short minutes away.. We will be staying there again if it's available.

Very nice place

House was beautiful. Location was perfect. Extremely clean and well stocked with necessities. My only complaints would be the lack of comfortable sleeping and sitting. It does accommodate 10 but only 2 beds. So when traveling with extended family as I did or a large group of friends, only 2 couples are sleeping comfortably. The sofa beds are very uncomfortable like all sofa beds. There is a 3rd bedroom downstairs with a sofa bed that would be better suited with a real bed. It would also be nice if there was more seating in the living area. We had a few people sitting on the floor when all of us were gathered for TV or just socializing. Overall, I’ve stayed at quite a few places over the years and this one would rank towards the top. I would stay here again but be prepared if traveling with a large group. I also never was welcomed with 2 bottles of wine at any stay so that was unexpected but a very nice touch.

Perfect for Families

We loved our stay at this property! There were multiple places to sleep, the kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were well stocked. Pat was super communicative and helpful. We stayed for my sisters wedding at Hammond castle. The morning of the wedding the six bridesmaids came to get hair and makeup done and the space was perfect. Thank you!

Good Harbor Beach vacation

Great house, vert well stocked and clean, easy walk to amazing beach. Everything we needed including for a 1 year old. The beach is perfect for kids. Could’ve stayed two weeks.

Great house; Great host

A+!!! Pat is quick to respond and always helpful. She wants guests to enjoy their stay! Relatively large house with lots of space to spread out. Towels, linens, beach chairs, kitchen appliances, board games, DVDs, etc. all in the house. Plenty of parking and minutes to Good Harbor and Long beaches. We couldn't figure something out, and Pat came by (quickly!) to help us out! A couple of bottles of wine and a gift certificate for ice cream were two simple and well received gestures, indicative of Pat's effort to make guests feel welcome.
