Come enjoy a dream vacation, where you have a private beach as part of your
property, a large deck with Amazing sunsets overlooking the bay, wake up to the sun rising over the nature preserve, walk on the large sand bar next to the house, enjoy the
kitchen with wall of sliders overlooking the water, gaze at the sky during the star filled
evenings, enjoy the sounds of the waves flowing under the house, stay with your entire family in this updated five bedroom home.

Stay at the home the entire time or venture out to one of the local wineries, cape may zoo, take a horse and carriage ride in the middle of cape may, visit Wildwood, Avalon and/or Stone harbor which are just minutes away.

You can shop at the local fresh fish store, Matthews or you can fish and crab right off your deck. Enjoy one of the unique restaurants located in Cape May Courthouse or choose one of the restaurants to deliver and eat bayside right at your private deck.

Feel like cooking? You will love the brand new kitchen with amazing views or the grill on the deck overlooking the water. Stay on your private beach all day or use the beach swings to enjoy the space. Walk the beach and search for the famous "Cape May Diamonds" or amazing shells.

This home is a private nature retreat. Birds, turtles and horseshoe crabs all live in this beautiful location. Please take note that fly's also like the beach.

Bring your family for an experience of a lifetime.

Please note:
This home is located on the bay. The home is lifted and the water does go under the home. During the high tide the private beach of the home will be water, then it recedes again for a large beach area. There is also a public beach a few feet away and another beach area on the northern end of the street. The public beach a few feet away always has a beach even when our private beach is experiencing high tide.

There is a 30" range with two ovens. One oven is a regular sized oven and the second is 30" wide but not as deep. The second smaller oven is great for reheating food. Our home does not have a microwave. There are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. (One of these bedrooms is on the main floor, one of these bedrooms is one step down from the main floor in its own detached suite).

The location and the deck are amazing. And it’s like your very own sound machine when the waves roll under the house. Very clean and well appointed. And Jen was quick and helpful with all of our questions.

Our family of 11 with grandparents and kids aged from 2 months to 7 years had a great time at this house. We loved sitting out in the deck and enjoying the view of the ocean. It was a relaxing fun stay.Couple of things to recommend: Bring your own handsoap, bathsoap, shampoo, conditioner. We had to do an emergency run to Walmart to get handsoap in the bathrooms because the host does not provide it.There were no dish towels, so we had to go get large paper towels to dry the dishes and wipe the counters.The cleaning service of the rooms could be better. There were cobwebs at certain bedroom corners, the floors looked dingy in certain areas. Despite these, the house is well furnished and very comfortable.

This is a beautiful house and we enjoyed our time here. I specifically booked this house due to the advertisement of a private beach which would have been great for kids. The beach is very close by but not really a beach to lay out on or swim. Another thing to note Is that there are 4 bathrooms but the hot water is limited. This would be expected to some degree but when the house can fit so many people most had cold showers. The outdoor space is beautiful but rather buggy as it is a marsh area.

Erin, I am sorry that you have given us such a terrible review. You had the maximum number of people in the home and all used the showers at the same time. I am not sure of many hot water systems that can with stand that type of usage. The house has a whole house ro system so even the showering water is cleaned before usage. We have never had this before but our system sent us an alert that you were constantly using the reservoir so it was not only that everyone was showeonf at the same time it was also that you were constantly using the showers at one time. Like I said we have never had that before even with the house being full of people. The home is on the bay as described and it is not constant but at times there are flies. That is also mentioned in the description. There is a preserved area across from us which makes rhe home very private. Maybe that is the marsh you are describing. Many have laid out on our beach and when I am enjoying our home, myself and my family do not come off the beach. I am sorry our beach didn't meet your expectations. I am so glad that it meets the expectations of 99 percent of our guest. Blessings to you and your family!

Family vacation

We loved the deck surrounded by the bay and the morning sunrises and evening sunsets are absolutely amazing. The table on the deck became a focal point for our family dinners and game nights to enjoy the sound of the bay.

Great stay!

The house was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed seeing the turtles, dolphins in the mornings, beautiful sunsets in the evenings and cape may diamonds. Bring bug spay for the flies.

5/10: Come for the bay views, stay for the fruit flies.We were a group of 8 adults using the entire property, including the separate house. The deck overlooking the bay is fantastic, a 10/10. It has beautiful views, it's a great place to hang out, and it's the kind of deck that makes you think, "This is going to be an amazing weekend."Unfortunately, the house had some less charming surprises.Within hours of arriving, we had a full-scale fruit fly takeover. By the end of the weekend, it felt like we were sharing the property with far more than 8 guests.No basic supplies were provided, and this wasn't communicated beforehand. There was one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, hardly any hand soap, no dish soap or sponge, no blankets for the couch, and no trash bags for 8 people. Pack accordingly.The biggest issue was cleanliness. The property was very dusty, and about half our group got sick during the stay. It's impossible to know the exact cause, but the dust was noticeable enough to flag for future guests. Also spider webs with dead fruit flies covered the front door. It's a shame, because the location, the space, and especially the deck are excellent. But the flies, the missing supplies, and the dust kept the stay from living up to its potential.Bottom line: 10/10 deck/views, 5/10 house, 0/10 interest in meeting the fruit flies again. Bring toiletries, trash bags, and a small army of fly traps.

The property is beautiful! I loved hearing the sounds of the water day and night. The views from the deck are amazing and absolutely beautiful. Our vacation was so enjoyable and relaxing!

Beautiful bay front residence with breathtaking sunsets!

My friends and I loved everything about this rental! The property owner was great to work with and the property and location are TOP notch! If you are visiting in May, be on the lookout for the horseshoe crabs, and enjoy all of the natural beauty the property has to offer!

Peaceful holiday gathering spot

My family rented the house for our Thanksgiving getaway, and the house provided a peaceful, private place with plenty of room for cooking, eating, and resting. The house’s unique position on stilts over the tide is stunning and ideal if you like to listen to the surf. The neighborhood is small and secluded which was great for dog walks.

Stunning views

This was such a peaceful location, surrounded by nature and true seaside dwelling neighbors. Sunrise views over the seagrass from one side of the house and sunset views from the deck over the water. So tranquil and beautiful.

Wonderful!

A Gorgeous Nature Retreat!I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a peaceful escape with family and friends. Surrounded by serene water and the gentle sounds of birds, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The spacious outdoor porch is ideal for cozy gatherings, morning coffee, or simply soaking in the tranquil views. A true haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Great location even in the rain and a stunning sunset. The only item of concern was the water filtration system on well water which left a salt scum on items in the dishwasher

I saw the white calcium build up you are discussing, I washed all the dishes but I am not sure if that was from the detergent used, the filtration or from the filter in the dishwasher needing to be cleaned. Lovely property. Wish more inside space to gather. Nice separate space for our senior parents. Deck was the best spent a lot of time there. Grill very hard to clean needs a cover. Washer and dryer great.Needs a microwave. A/c worked great. Wish it was a full week. House near other places to visit. An enjoyable experience.Bunk beds or twin beds teenagers would like better.

Sunsets and sunshine

This house was beautiful! It was nicely decorated, accommodating and all of the information listed was spot on. Our group of friends gathered here for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time, enjoying the beautiful deck right over the water! All of the deck furniture allowed for lots of outdoor seating and a perfect gathering area! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!

Beautiful sunsets

3 families with kids ranging from 7 - 16. We all had an amazing time. The view was breathtaking and we all wanted to rush “home” every evening to catch the sunset. The house had evening we needed and was clean. Already looking into booking it again! Thank you for sharing your home!

Literally on the water

The house is in the most unique and amazing spot! It's perfect if you like to be on the water and get away from it all! Jenn was a great host who responded quickly to any questions or issues. We saw beautiful sunsets, fireworks and lightning storms over the water! The only thing that would have made it better for us, is if it had an outdoor shower. We would love to go back someday!

Beautiful place literally on top of the water

We had seven adults and two children workout just fine in this beautiful open home with the house and a huge deck built on pier literally above the water during high tide. During low tide, there’s a beautiful private beach. Accommodations had everything we needed with the exception that a microwave and garbage disposal would have been handy. Communication with the owner was great. She was very accommodating and we would come back.

Positively Perfect

The house is beautiful and spacious enough for family, friends and teens. Comfy beds, with plenty of pillows and towels. The deck space is incredible and perfect for morning coffee, meals, and evening chats watching the tide come in or the sunset over the bay. Jen is an amazing host. Kind, thoughtful, and thorough in answering the numerous questions we had ahead of our stay and quick to respond to questions we had while there. The private beach is great and public beach is just a few steps away. The neighbors are friendly too. A positively perfect spot for amazing memories.
