I received a phone call from the owner/manager about 4 hours before arrival/check in time that there was uncertainty as to whether or not they could rent me this house due to the size of our group. The home was listed as a 3BR/3.5BA sleeping 12 - however it actually was a 3 BR/2BA-sleeping 6. Obviously, I was pretty unhappy that the house was much smaller than I needed for the group. I was appreciative that after the owner/manager thought about it they went ahead and allowed the rental though everyone was not able to sleep as comfortably as planned (the entire listing showing the bed accommodations in the house was wrong!). Additionally, the "heated" pool was not heated on arrival, nor did the owner/manager check to see if we wanted it heated. Maybe an oversight on our part to not ask but turns out the pool heater was broken/leaking and wouldn't heat the pool. I'm disappointed that we paid the price we did for a home that had less beds than expected and one less full bathroom than advertised and the pool was not usable. I tried to call the owner/manager (he was busy with a customer and said he would call back) who did not return my phone call. I also tried to text him after the stay and he did not respond. I was hoping he would adjust the price since the listing was not as promised. He has not. Overall, the house I suppose was fine. But I overpaid because this house was not as listed -smaller than advertised, no heated pool.
