This newly updated home is on a spacious, private lot with a deck overlooking the lake. Large lots like this have become increasingly rare on Lake Mille Lacs. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the house, patio, yard, and shoreline. The house is on the lake shore despite what the VRBO map indicates.

The home features three bedrooms: a main-floor master bedroom with a queen bed and two bedrooms on the second level with four twin beds. All beds are memory foam.

You'll find a well taken care of comfortable home with decor. The full-service kitchen has an electric stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and all utensils, including new silverware, plates, cups, and glasses. Towels and washcloths are also provided.

This property has new stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen, new flooring, a north porch and deck, a workstation/house wifi (bring your laptop if you'd like), and lake views from the kitchen, north porch, deck, and huge lake facing yard. Enjoy outdoor activities with a private fire pit on the lakeshore, which includes a stainless-steel grill option over the fire pit. There is also a gas grill on the deck, a picnic table, and six new HDPE Adirondack chairs. The sunsets over Spider Island are truly spectacular.

Protected boat launches are available nearby in Wahkon and Isle (both are 5 minutes away), and the beautiful beach is nearly next door at Father Hennepin State Park. This property is conveniently located between two towns for easy access to gas, groceries, and multiple dining options.

Whether you're seeking a family vacation, a peaceful getaway, a homebase for a fishing trip, privacy, spring flowers, summer fun, swimming, boating, fall colors, or winter activities like ice fishing and snowmobiling, this location has it all. Father Hennepin State Park and Kathio State Park are just a short distance away. If you prefer staying indoors, you can relax in the sauna or read in the home's tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by a lovely lake breeze.

Our preferred rental would start with a Friday arrival with a Thursday checkout, but we will happily work with your schedule.

NOTE: 4pm arrival and 10:00 am departure unless otherwise agreed upon.

The house was exactly as expected. It was great to have a dock to fish from and watch the amazing sunsets. We also very much appreciated the family history book, what a blessing this family is. We also enjoyed the sauna and the large table to do puzzles and play games. The yard was perfect to romping around. We will be back again. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless and very well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking equipment we needed, which made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The best part was the breathtaking view of the lake; it was so peaceful to wake up to every morning and watch the sunset in the evenings. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was awesome! The online pictures didnt do it justice. It was even nicer than we expected. Reading about the history of the property made the stay so much more personal. It felt like home away from home.

This cabin was exactly as described. We had such a nice time relaxing on the deck, at the campfire

This is a beautiful home that sits right on the lake shore. There is quick access to a grocery store, restaurants, and public boat ramp. We were able to see lots of wildlife in the back yard. Overall very comfy and cozy. I would definitely stay again!

A nice lakeside home

The home was easy to find and had a beautiful view of the lake. Jeremy was prompt in answering our questions. We were even able to listen to a wonderful band on Saturday night. I would highly recommend staying here.

Had a great stay and get away at the cabin on the lake. Particularly enjoyed an early morning cup of coffee on the dock. the secluded and quite property provided great opportunity to relax.

July 4th stay

We had a great time! Close to the beaches and pontoon rental. We were here on July 4th. We were able to see the fireworks from all directions on the dock. It was hot upstairs, but the the portable air conditioner and multiple fans it was doable. We loved seeing the original pictures and structure of the place and reading about its history. We will visit again!

Amazing!

Cabin is in the absolute perfect location! Right on the water, beautiful views. 10 out of 10. Was exactly what we wanted. Had a great time with family and friends. Plenty of space, very clean, huge yard. Owner responded immediately to everything...was just the perfect geteaway. Will definenelty be back.

We stayed here while we were in town for a MTT tournament and it worked out great. There was plenty of room to park the truck and trailer and easy access to power to charge the boat up. Perfect home base with all the amenities you need after a few long days on the lake

Peaceful lakeside cabin with modern convenience

We had a great experience. This property is private and quiet. Eagles were nesting in the treetops and deer came everyday to eat from the apple tree. There’s a nice fire pit on the shore with plenty of wood where we enjoyed sunsets and s’mores. The WiFi was fast and reliable. It’s close to a few towns with different restaurants, shopping and activities. The host was communicative and responsive. We would stay here again.

This rental is different than most you'll find as it has a large lot and a quiet setting. This is not a cabin built directly next to other cabins. If you're looking for a peaceful lake setting, you've found it.
