Kamaole Sands 3-104 has some features that separate it from other condos and make it a great choice for your vacation:
1) The lanai is not only oversized and covered, but it also faces SW. This means you ALWAYS have the choice between full sun or full shade. It is on the ground floor, so the lanai spills out onto the lawn.
2) The pool entrance is literally a short walk across the lawn.
3) A brand new MINI-SPLIT AC SYSTEM was installed in MAY 2023
4) The SOFA SLEEPER is brand new as of May 2023
5) Tad and Kathy also own VRBO #2695811 ( 30+ 5-Star Reviews), a 3 bedroom unit in Kamaole Sands. Book them together for your larger family function
6) This unit is well-provisioned and well-stocked with a full kitchen

Kamaole Sands is a mini-paradise with 15 acres of lush landscaped ponds, fountains and foliage. Amenities include a large swimming pool, a wading pool for children, two hot tubs, four tennis courts, an exercise room, ping pong tables, activities desk, and multiple barbecue areas throughout the property. Our 1 bedroom 2 bath unit on the ground floor of Building 3 is located in the heart of Kamaole Sands Resort.

We want you to feel the comforts of home, yet the luxury of a resort. Enjoy your favorite shows on one of our SMART TV's and prepare your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen. For the beach, we provide towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and snorkel gear.

Kamaole Sands is conveniently located close to shopping, the world-class golf courses of Wailea, and great restaurants! Water activities include swimming, fishing, snorkeling, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and kayaking.

Lovely relaxing place to stay. Everything’s just as beautiful as the pictures. I rented the place because it was beautiful and it has a nice recliner that my husband loved.The town is wonderful with lots of market style shopping and a beautiful beaches and parks.We had a rooster come visit us a few times a day. We called him Rio. He was a nice welcoming rooster. Hope to come back in two years.Aloha

Fantastic space and great location

The amenities were fantastic both in the suite and in the resort. The host provided much more than expected, from beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to tupperware, sandwich bags and playing blocks for my young daughter.. the space was updated with a wa heat pump air conditioner which was a must have.

Wonderful stay

I had an amazing stay at this vacation rental in Kihei! The location was absolutely beautiful, with easy access to stunning beaches and gorgeous sunsets. The condo itself was spacious, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to beach gear. The amenities were fantastic, especially the nice pool, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient spot in Maui!

A Lovely Hawaiian Stay with Great Decor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It took us a little while to figure out the internet connection (the modem had been unplugged), but once that was sorted, everything was smooth. The place was very clean, except for some mold in the washer. Other than that, everything was great. The sofa bed wasn’t as comfortable as the main bed, but it was fine for a few nights. Overall, the unit was a lovely place to stay – I especially loved the interior and decor, which really gave it a Hawaiian feel. I could tell the owner has great taste!

Marvelous Maui

The unit was just as advertised; fully stocked and everything worked. Space was well maintained and nicely decorated. Very clean. This unit was in close proximity to the one and only pool.Highly recommend the unit and the owner.

Exceptional!!

From our arrival until the day we left this was the perfect place to stay. This condo is so well stocked with everything you will need for cooking your meals to enjoying a day on the beach. The grounds and pool at the Kamaole Sands are well cared for it is a beautiful property. Being able to simply walk to the beach is also a plus. I can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed our recent vacation here and will stay here again.

Loved our stay

This condo was even better than we had hoped, we really enjoyed our honeymoon here! It’s a great location at Kamaole Sands, close to the pool and other amenities and just a short walk to the beach. The unit itself was clean and inviting, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The only thing I missed having was a safe to store our valuables and passports. Everything else in the unit was perfect with lots of extra thoughtful touches for guests. would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to rent a superior unit! Mahalo for your hospitality.

Amazing unit!

Loved this unit. Great location to pool and beach. The main bed was very comfortable. The entire condo was exceptionally clean. Only down side was that the pull out sofa for the kids was very thin and the kids could feel the frame. However we made it work and would definitely book this unit again and can’t wait. 🤗

Pictures don’t do justice

We had a really good experience staying here. It’s a very nice property and being on the first floor close to pool and the parking lot was just the icing on the cake. We had an infant with us and they got a lot of walking space, it’s quite spacious too. We liked it had 2 full bathrooms, me and my husband could get ready separately and save time to go out for sightseeing. The host has made sure that everything is quite independent and mentioned things in the checking list. They respond fast too while you are staying so that was helpful too. Highly recommended!!

Flight change accomodation

We grabbed this last minute as our flights were delayed. And our parents were in another unit here. Between us we stayed in 2 other units at the Kamoale Sands and will say that this unit was by far the best in cleanliness, stocking of everyday products and condiments, and general condition. We would recommend this unit as it implies a pride of ownership which was impressive.

Fabulous in every way!

I stayed here with my 17 year old daughter after her high school graduation. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning. The property is directly across the street from the Kamole III. We walked across everyday and for every sunset. The grounds are beautifully maintained. To get to the pool, just walk out the back slider and across the lawn. There are two hot tubs (one for adults only). Pool quiet hours are followed, so there was not too much noise. The condo was perfect in every way. There is air conditioning in the living room, which we used at night only. When we were home during the day, we kept the slider open. We sat outside to eat on the patio in the comfortable outdoor furniture for every meal. Also, out there is a storage container with everything you will need: two boogie boards, four Tommy Bahama chairs, two umbrellas, a skim board, two coolers and a pool noodle. In the living room, there is a new pull out couch, which my daughter used. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of: nice refrigerator with an ice maker, blender, rice cooker, new pots and pans and dishes, cooking utensils etc... The primary bedroom was great-- new and comfortable king size bed and furniture, updated bathroom with a good shower AND an air conditioner (so nice). The neighbors were all very quiet. The location cannot be beat-- right across from Kamole Beach III and walkable to several stores and restaurants. We loved every part of this rental.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved the spacious lanai and it being the ground floor so we could easily walk right across to the pool. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Only suggestion would be to have a high chair or booster seat available. The kids plates and play pen were very handy!

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was super clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing. I had the best sleeps! We also appreciated the extra beach materials - beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and sand toys for our little one. The location was great. We couldn't have been happier. Thanks for making our first visit to Hawaii so wonderful.

The condo was awesome! Kitchen was well stocked for baking (brownies etc) also, containers for taking snacks to the beach. The mattress was sooo comfortable. Thanks for letting us check-in early. There was only one dish cloth so I had to wash it often! We are thinking of returning next year & hopefully decide soon enough to stay here again! Thanks again

Perfect place to stay

Perfect stay, perfect location

It's a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. The condo has all the beach amenities, including boogie boards and snorkel gear. The place was clean and well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked. The lanai was great for breakfast. Overall an amazing place!

The perfect vacation home !

This was our first ever visit to Maui and thanks to Tad and Kathy for making our stay the most memorable. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the smallest details taken care of. Kitchen is very well equipped and appliances in great shape. The beach essentials were a BIG plus ! The location of the apartment in the resort is great with easy access to the pool. We drove around a lot in Maui and found Kihei to be the best with respect to services, shops and restaurants. All in all, a perfect 10 to this Super host !!

Perfect for kids!

This place was perfect for us and our 1 year old. She lived running in the grass right outside and the pool was a nice short walk. The place was very nice and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

You will love staying at Kamaole Sands. It is the nicest and best run complex in Kihei. The gardens are immaculate, the pool/hot tubs are resort-like, and being right across the from Kamaole III gives you easy access to the sand, waves, and sunsets.
