Perfect space for calm remote work, with table, chair, desk lamp, dedicated wifi. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, highlighted by eclectic art and a library of books on Africa. Double bed. Fridge/ freezer, convection oven, water filter, French coffee press and utensils, plates etc. for 2 make it easy to warm up takeout or enjoy a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Modern, brand new bathroom with shower. Easy access directly from our terrace to the Eldorado Green Belt's walking trails with spectacular mountain views. Two skylights provide fantastic views of the glimmering night skies. Parking right outside your door is easy and free. Peaceful, sunny, heavenly.

Eldorado is very quiet. The only sounds you might hear at night are the coyotes howling at the moon or the little shuttle train chugging past between Santa Fe and Lamy. Our neighbors' homes cannot be seen and there is little or no traffic in the area. Whether you're coming for work, to chill out for a few days, visiting Santa Fe for the first time or meeting family and friends, let this be your best hub.

We are just 2 miles from two shopping centers with supermarket, hardware store, gym, cafe, health clinic, pet store, restaurant, dispensary and other amenities.

We like to recommend our local restaurants Harry's Roadhouse, Cafe Fina and Bobcat Jambo and of course, you are only as 15-minute drive from downtown Santa Fe, with its plethora of restaurants, museums, galleries and other attractions.

We're alo an easy drive from historic sites such as Tent Rocks, Bandelier Monument, Ghost Ranch, and the Galisteo Basin.

A comfortable stay in Eldorado - enjoyed getting to know our hosts. Eldorado is a quiet, open expanse that’s still about 20 minutes away from the center of Santa Fe.

Cozy Studio

This studio apartment was just like the photos which I appreciated. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. Host was helpful when I checked in and was there if I needed anything. I really liked staying here!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was just as advertised- very comfortable with many added features that made our stay wonderful. The location was an easy drive to Santa Fe and other nearby locations, but far enough away from the city to provide a quiet, restful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Cozy basecamp for exploring the area

We stayed for 6 days. The room was warm and cozy even during cold winter days in December. We appreciated the collection of teas and coffee. Lots of trails nearby as my wife and I like to start the day with a morning run. Kenny was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Quiet and comfy

I greatly appreciated that Kenny not only accommodated my extremely late arrival (2AM), but that she welcomed me in person. The room was well-appointed, the bed was comfortable, and it was super-quiet. I would be happy to return anytime. Great to have a place to stay in Eldorado.

Just As Described

Kenny was a superb host and saw to it that we had exactly what we needed for our short stay. The bed was comfy, the room temperature was perfect, everything was perfectly suitable. Since we’ve stayed in Santa Fe multiple times we had no need to be within walking distance of the plaza and as it was only a three night stay we did not require a kitchen. We would certainly stay here again!

I am Kenny, born and raised in Kenya. I lived in Germany for 12 years, then moved to the US in 1982. I am an educator, journalist, author and documentary filmmaker. I've been doing airbnb for about ten years. Uli is my partner and co-host. He's German and specializes in eldercare.

I work with a Maasai community near Nairobi, Kenya, to develop sustainable sources of income parallel to the traditional reliance on livestock. (www.acaciamoyo.org).

We are quiet except when we entertain our friends, when we like a bit of noise! If we're entertaining friends, we will probably invite you to join us! We are very respectful of our guests and do everything in our power to ensure that they are comfortable.

This is a typical Southwestern adobe house with all the traditional features, such as a kiva fireplace, a shepherd's fireplace and massive wooden beams across the ceiling. Your room, which is completely private, has been decorated with art and artefacts that I have collected from all over the world. It is colorful, cheerful and very comfortable and includes a small library of contemporary and antique books about Africa.

The location is extremely convenient, being only a 20-minute drive from downtown Santa Fe and an easy drive to other points of interest such as Las Vegas, Galisteo and Madrid. You also have direct access straight from our terrace to the Eldorado Green Belt which is lovely for long walks. If you would like to make use of it, please let us know how to access it without disturbing our other guests. We have a dedicated parking spot just for you!

We're just 2.5 miles from the nearest supermarket, bank, hardware store, bar, coffee house and other local amenities.

We are just a 20-minute drive from all of downtown Santa Fe's attractions, including museums, Meow Wulf, the Plaza and the great variety of restaurants and shops.
We're also an easy drive to places of interest such as Galisteo, Cerillos, Madrid and Las Vegas.

If you're into the outdoors, there are many places within reach for hiking, biking, walking and horse riding.

We do everything we can to make you feel comfortably at home, and we are almost always present should you have further needs. We don't mind if you arrive very late - I have even greeted guests at 2:00am - and we will allow early luggage drop-off if necessary.

You have the use of our laundry if required, for a small extra fee.

It's an amazingly peaceful place where you are a quick drive from cultural and outdoor amenities; will have no hassle parking; and can access both cultural and outdoor activities with ease. We're 2.5 miles from the local supermarket, gym, pet store, restaurant, medical facility, dentist and other amenities.
