We had a wonderful time at the Fly Away cabin. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. There are only a few suggestions that would have elevated our experience. Some steak knives and a wood fire pit.

Mike was a very attentive host! There was ample parking space and beautiful scenery. He even stopped by before we checked out to introduce himself and tell us some history about the area. Fly Away was a great option for a weekend stay.

The cabin was wonderful- even better than the pictures. Everything is laid out in such a thoughtful way. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the lower deck, enjoying the stream. It was exactly what we needed!

Was absolutely wonderful! We went for fly fishing got rained out on Saturday. Friday different bugs everywhere! The owners were incredibly nice and would recommend 100%

Great location, beautiful property, terrific creek view. The cabin is incredibly well built and solid. Very clean and fully stocked. Mike and Ellice are terrific hosts - responsive to any questions and available if needed. Highly recommend Fly Away Cabin.

We had a great time at the cabin. The cabin was well furnished and clean. Ellice and Mike were very friendly and helpful. The large parking lot was nice for our ATV trailer. The local ATV Trail was perfect for us, mostly easy trails but a good mix of trail types. We fished and hiked and enjoyed the beautiful nature in the area. Also took a side trip to Knoebels about an hour away. Good memories for my grandson and I.

This property is located down a secluded private lane with a few other properties. The cabin is very private as the cabins are very nicely spaced so you don’t see the other properties. There is a large gravel parking area so parking is no problem at all. The cabin is extremely well built and has a rustic feel but with all the modern conveniences. There is a main bedroom and then several beds in the loft. We stayed 2 nights and slept really well. The cabins are very sits along the river/creek that apparently has decent trout fishing. We weren’t there to fish but the guest book had several folks who mentioned the fishing. We planned on adding our addition to the guest book but time got away from us and we didn’t get a chance. But had we had time we would have given some tips on where to go like the Rusty Rail Brewing Company. Really nice brewery and restaurant very well done. We also walked around the town. Our main reason for going was to see the Percheron Horses at a local farm. Beautiful horses. The area is really lovely. We drove around quite a bit. There are many Amish and Mennonite folks around and we purchased some baked goods which were delicious. We had a great long weekend and would not hesitate to stay here again if we find ourselves in the area. The host is easy to work with and takes good care of the property. This would be a great place to stay in the summer as well as it does have AC. Enjoyed our stay.

Great cabin

We stayed for a few days of fishing on Penns Creek. The cabin was clean and had everything we were looking for. We will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Stay

The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed to stay for a week while our son was at camp. Mike and Ellise were very accommodating and helped with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a spot in the area to relax.

This was the perfect home base for our annual mother-daughter trip. The cabin felt big with the tall ceilings and well equipped with all the essentials. We enjoyed hikes nearby and at RB Winter State Park.
