Keeping with the historic theme, this suite has a farmhouse, industrial modern decor. The suite has a view of the Turkey River and the Keystone Bridge. This cozy suite has a table area, coffee bar, sitting area, full bathroom, queen bed, and a queen size futon couch. Each suite includes Wi-Fi, and air conditioning for your comfort.

Enjoyed

The property was very cute and comfortable, just how it was described. It was right on Main Street so I could walk to all the shops while my husband was fishing. No stairs for suite B.

Cute place

This unit was super cute. The town is super cute and being by the river was wonderful. The only issue I had was centipedes. I could not sleep with them all over the unit. I left the unit before the sun came up because of the centipedes. I spend the remainder of the night until after 7 am in my car. I did try to reach out to the property manager but have not heard anything back.

Fantastic gem

Was a wonderful and comfortable stay. Would be nice if there had been a couple of drinking glasses. We used the coffee mugs which worked.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!

We could not have found a better place to stay! Suite B had everything we were hoping for. There’s a beautiful deck in the front that’s set back from the street and surrounded by a lovely garden. Having grown up in Elkader, I wanted to be close to downtown, the bridge and to see the courthouse clock. Couldn’t ask for more.

Girls Getaway

We had a great stay! We would definitely recommend The Mill to everyone! Very clean and super cute!! It would be nice to hand soap in the kitchen. Everything else was great!! Communication with the host was always very timely!

Wonderful place to stay

Nancy and Joe are wonderful hosts. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the views are great. And within walking distance to everything downtown. Highly recommend!

Elkader retreat

Very nice property with great location and great views of the river. The mattress was a little firm for our taste and the bed squeaked but the only real issue we had was spotty internet service which made watching TV difficult. Suggestion: It was great to have coffee pods provided but some sugar and creamer packets would have been great. Would definitely stay there again.

Studio-style accommodations

The studio-style accommodations are perfect for a couple or a family of 3. Ground level access works well for those who have a hard time navigating stairs. It's perfectly located in downtown Elkader, within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, the bakery, a movie theater, and lots of fun shopping.

Great location!

This cute suite is clean and comfortable! The location is perfect for walking to Schera's Algerian Restaurant (highly recommended!) for lunch or dinner, as well as all downtown shops. We had a great time kayaking the Turkey River for 2 days. Bring your own creamer or sugar if needed for coffee, and your own bowls if you need those for your breakfast!

Great place, great hosts and cute town

The place was perfect. True to the pictures. The building was on the river we left the windows open and listened to the waterfalls all night it was great. We loved the town of elkader had a bunch of cute shops. We are planning on returning and hope we can stay in the same place we loved it.

Nice location. Good view. Plenty of towels. Really cute apartment. Although it didn’t matter to us, there is only a microwave, no stove. Otherwise it was perfect. I will stay here again.
