Evoking images of a simpler time is this classic New Englander cottage. The cottage began its journey in the 1940s in Danbury, CT. It was shipped up to Vermont by train and Oxen powered wagons. It found its forever home on the shores of Lake Champlain on the Alburgh peninsula. From that time forward, it has been a source of pure whimsy and enjoyment for all who enter. It features three bedrooms, bathroom and living room on the second floor. The first floor features a kitchen, family/dining area , laundry room, and half bath. The home is enhanced by a huge lakeside deck that gives you the feeling of being right on the water, because you are! Although we list the property as a max of 8 guests, we prefer no more than 6 adults. Families with children are the exception, to 8 guests. If you have special circumstances, please send me an inquiry.

We do allow one dog, up to medium in size, not to be left unattended.

Also, this home operates on Lake water. All faucets are plain lake water except the small secondary tap at the kitchen sink, which is run through a reverse osmosis filtration system. That is for drinking water!
